Stay away! I've only been dealing with them for 6 months and it's the worst experience I've had with customer service. They have also no called no showed for two appointments and shown up on the wrong day for two others. No accountability whatsoever. Just look at their reviews versus other companies before calling. I wish I did!

Suburban propane has provided less than expected customer service. Every delivery has been rescheduled without notice or contact. Drivers have been rude when they do show up. I’m currently trying to get this rented tank picked up to stop the service. Surprise, twice they failed to show up, despite promises that this my service is prioritized and will not be rescheduled. This is holding up the preparation for sale of my home. I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes to speak to service manager Robert. Let’s see what he has to say.
**Update - I was able to speak to Robert about my concerns and he was understanding and worked to ensure the tank was removed next day. Robert even followed up by phone to ensure I was satisfied with the removal. While I appreciate Robert’s intervention in this latest matter, I believe the review accurately reflects my experience with Suburban’s service over the last 3/4 years.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Kendal from Suburban Gas, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and professional, but he also took the time to thoroughly inspect my appliances and explain everything clearly. He was incredibly patient throughout the process, had a great personality, and made the whole experience feel stress-free and seamless. Kendal is truly the whole package—there should be more technicians like him out there. Highly recommend!

Worst company ever. Filled my propane tank after I moved out of a home. Will not reverse the charge even though I never requested the tank to be filled. I would have left no stars but you can't. I would go without propane before using them again. Terrible

A few weeks before the hurricane, we were running low on propane in our backyard generator but were unable to reach our supplier. We tried calling and messaging again when the storm subsided, but no response. After 5 days without power we googled and found Suburban. They answered our call on a Sunday and arranged to come check the system. Shortly after, they broight the propane. Customer service was top notch and delivery was quick and efficient. Best company ever, especially in an emergency!

Kendal came out the night before Thanksgiving and got us working so the Turkey got cooked. Nice guy and explained where the leak was and got it capped up.

This was the second time I requested service from Suburban Propane to have additional propane connections installed for my generators. Both times Matt came out to service our home, and both times I received professional, promote, quick and courteous service. There is no doubt the Matt is skilled at his craft and is great refection on Suburban Propane. His work was very clean and precise and he had no qualms about explaining what he was doing and why it was done. Because of Matt and his professionalism, I am very happy with the Suburban's service.

Was told when purchasing the tanks that we would get service right away in an emergency situation like a hurricane, yet we called and did online ordering over and over for 5 days after the hurricane and we heard nothing. Finally someone showed up (with no notice ) on day 7. This is totally unacceptable. The delivery person was very nice and apologetic but the company seemed to be unprepared for a known disaster situation.

Would be nice if your service department could handle your customers that you already have. Apparently I have been told that your service department has been downsized and this is very sad for me as a 35-year-old customer. I am told several times to go and look for gas service for my house elsewhere. You delivery of gas from your company is still the same as it always was. But he service department has totally dropped the ball very sad
