I’ve been going here for months, it’s right around the corner from the project I’m working on. Not uncommon to have homeless cranks harassing you at the gas pumps or in the parking lot.
Prices are not as marked, and they refuse to honor the price or update it.
Today, while trying to get clarification from the cashier (whom I believe is the owner) about the items I’d brought to the register and what the actual cost was going to be, he told “c’mon hurry up I have stuff to do”. There was nobody else in the store. I politely thanked him, let him know I wouldn’t bother him again, nor would I be back. Turns out there are lots of other gas stations.
It’s a form of taking advantage of people that I see more and more. Put a price tag of $1.29 on a soda, charge $1.49 at the register, most people just put up with it. And so do I??♂️. Let’s stop it people. Sometimes it’s a $.30, sometimes it a dollar. I don’t care what the price is, but whatever it is, should be marked.

They had some small ethnic food place in the back that was soo good! I had some chicken corn dish and a huge tamale. It's on of those places that will create a craving. I'm not even sure what kind of food it was. Not Mexican I know that. The tamales were banana leaf
