Everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Great service, clean rooms, nice amenities, surrounded by variety of food choices. In addition to all that, a great location with beautiful views. Highly recommend

We are staying here now. We requested a room away from elevators and quiet, even confirming that with the front desk young man. We get off the elevator and our room is right across the hall. The person above us has been up late making noise and now there has been chairs moving and possibly house keeping up there. Before 7am!! The traffic noise is loud on the city side, even from the 23rd floor. The room is not that clean with lint on the rug, dirt here and there on the floor, and someone’s snot wiped on the night stand. We are here for a convention and would not choose this hotel again. I will be bringing my concerns to the front desk staff this morning. It is close to the convention center and the river walk. The food was good at Anchor and Brine.Update: our room was directly under the concierge lounge. So much for our quiet room request. The front staff has moved us to a different room. Beware that the city side is very noisy with traffic, construction, and the trolley, so if you are a light sleeper, maybe the water side would be better.

Very well located. Use the south entrance through the restaurant to get direct access to the Riverwalk. As a conference venue + hotel this is a top notch location.

Location of the hotel is really good although downtown traffic can be a little crazy at times. There are a lot of dining options, from upscale to budget friendly, available around the hotel in downtown. Pam Lorio parking garage is at a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel where you can park for $15 per day; the hotel valet charges $45 per day for the same and they also use the same garage to park your car.As far as the room that I got was concerned, it was nicely appointed with a good bathroom that had a stand-in shower instead of a bathtub, which I prefer. My room was towards the river side, so the views were great. However, I had two issues: my room was next to the elevator and I kept hearing it going up and down all the time, and was especially annoying at night when you are trying to sleep. The second issue was water coming out of the shower area through the gap between the sliding door and the floor, and making the bathroom floor wet. I'm not sure they can fix the first issue as it requires sound deadening with some heavy duty insulation between walls but they can definitely fix the second issue. So, in all, if you are staying there, do not get a room next to the elevator or else you will have a bad night. Rest is good.

great location, but charges for wifi, floor was sticky, someone's hair was on the bathroom floor when i checked in, had to have someone bring your luggage up and down. can't do it yourself. they won't let you. had to vale park your car so you can't access your vehicle when you wanted to. noisy noisy noisy. gym and pool areas were great.

Everything was great!! Most front desk were great, Brenda and Mia that I recall and also David G is superb!!!Until I came across front desk representative named Joseph, a male. I requested for feminine pads, and he has the audacity to say I only need ONE?! Joseph does not represent or reflect Marriott’s values in DEI. Obviously. He’s tarnishing Marriott’s DEI values.

I travel often for work and usually stay with Marriott. The hotel is nice. Rooms clean. My con is the Destination Credit. They say it’s a Daily Dining credit. So if you pay $30, you get $30 back in addition to the other perks depicted on the sign. However what they don’t tell you is that the Dining Credit is taxed a few dollars AND even more disappointing is the DAILY dining credit is only 12pm-12am. If you can see the photo it doesn’t have any time restrictions on there. And, this was not at all explained to me, so two of my days I planned specifically to eat breakfast at their restaurant and charge the room of which I didn’t get the credit back for. What a waste and very frustrating!!! I would not choose to do this again.

I spent over 9 months working in the area chose this place as my home base. They offered great rooms that were spotless every time! They have a great gym and good selection of food at their water front restaurant. The location is also central to all nearby restaurants and tourist spots. It’s my favorite place to visit when I stay in Tampa.I can’t wait to visit again. ?Food & drinks: Great oysters!!!

This is a pretty generic hotel. The restaurants and location were great. The bed and pillows were awful. The room was very basic. They didn't properly honor our breakfast package on our bill (apparently their own handling of the destination fee caused the error). The pool deck was poorly managed, lots of people holding chairs with towels all day but not actually using them. It was nice having the river walk right out the back door.Rooms: These rooms are nothing special. Very firm bed and flimsy pillows. The view was great from the balcony.Walkability: Very walkable to lots of restaurants, the aquarium, Straz, downtown, Hyde Park, and the Riverwalk.Food & drinks: We enjoyed all the restaurants. Lona was our favorite but great food and service at the cafe waterside and Anchor and Brine.

**BEWARE OF VALET DRIVERS**I wasn’t too concerned about the high price for valet considering it was at a Marriott and I assumed my vehicle would be taken care of. Not the case. As we were walking to the stadium we could hear the kid hot rodding my car which I don’t even do. Then while waiting in line we saw the kid that took my car and asked if enjoyed driving it like that since we could hear him. He smiled and said yea as he took off to pick up another car. That morning I noticed my front skirt banged up, scratched and bent. Damaged. Not cool. Not impressed and NEVER AGAIN. We told his supervisor whose card is in the picture below. He apologized and offered a free valet next time. I thought that was hilarious. I’ll never be back. If you love your vehicle, I don’t trust these kids. They have no concern for you and honestly don’t deserve to be in someone else’s car. Terrible business

The room was nice. However, the shower drained extremely slowly and we were standing in water. The toilet ran and bubbled all night keeping us awake. We pre-purchased the breakfast buffet and the buffet was not offered. We were offered breakfast entrees to be included at a lower value. The front desk did resolve this issue eventually.I then requested my car from valet at 10:22, received a message the car was en route 20 minutes later. At 11:00am my car still didn’t arrive, and I found the keys were still at the cashier. We finally received our car around 11:10.The front desk was helpful and the location of the hotel is great. But with the price of the hotel, the rest of our stay was not up to the standard we expected.
