I want to provide extremely positive feedback on Brent who works at the Angel Olivia Senior St location in Ybor, Tampa, FL.
Some context is that we had just endured a grueling 24 hr U-haul ride (meant to be 16 hrs) The U-haul was completely full, in the back and in the cabin, cramped with 2 cats, 2 adults, & also towing a car. We were not being able to get into my apt on the move-in day because the lease consultant said she would not stay a minute past 4, so we had to find a hotel during one of the busiest weekends in Tampa. Not fun to hear after you just pulled a few all-nighters, moving 6 large states away, and uprooting your whole life. We finally found one but then had to rush to get into the apt the very next day because the apt worker said they would not stay past 1:30.
Well we barely got to the apt in time but when we did, we got a wave into the parking lot from a U-Haul worker across the street. We pulled in and started to explain what had happened and the stress we had after pulling a few all-nighters and needing to return the truck the very next day to another location. Without hesitation, he offered us an extra day, even though we hadn’t asked directly, “oh you need an extra day? we got you”. He also made it possible for us to return the truck at that same location, so close to my apt building, without us directly doing any extra work or paperwork. He also pointed out a huge safety issue with the tow.
None of these things he had to do, let alone waving us into the parking lot. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion of moving to a brand new, beautiful city was turned into a nightmare before meeting Brent. His attitude and up beat attitude started to turn it all around. From the perspective of myself owning my own businesses, customer service, going the extra mile, and frankly just treating others like you want to be treated, you have a true A+ employee. I hope he gets the recognition and compensation he deserves because if he acts even half as well as he did on this day, on the daily, then he is invaluable and you should be immensely proud. Patrick at that location has also helped me a few times going above and beyond. Thank you Brent, Patrick, and U-haul!

Not a good experience needs to be more clear on pricing also was told I’ll get a refund on a over charge and never received it

Great location and not sketchy (although always use caution at night). This is a real U-Haul location and not a side business for someone (which can be unpredictable to rent from as far as customer service and vehicle availability). Check out was smooth and self check in was easy. The local roosters and chickens roaming around were a funny surprise (I'm not from Tampa).

Uhaul is a lifesaver! They have great storage options, clean trucks, and great employees. At this location, Norma and Philip were excellent and they exceeded my expectations! Thank you for hiring great people who actually are ready, willing, and even eager to help. They both made my move enjoyable and hassle free by helping me get the right equipment for my move and find the right temporary storage space I needed.

Moved our stuff into a storage unit early September. Returned a month later to a cockroach infested unit. Management is poor, dismissive and took no action to remedy the situation. I was given a number for the insurance company which they claimed would handle it. Only to be told now that unfortunately our policy doesn’t cover insects. Complete and utter scam. Not to mention management acknowledged that they do have pest treatment there monthly. Thanks for destroying my families clothing and such. For anyone looking for a place to do business with stay away from these scammers at all level.

I went to put some things in storage due to the damage in my place from hurricane Helene. The customer agent and clerk in the ybor city office were very nice and helpful. However, the site needs better and more access to the storage units. They only have one ramp which can easily be taken and one would have to wait until they finish packing or unpacking. The other way to get to the third level is by walking up stairs. What if someone is handicap old or has issues with knees or back? Please consider adding more access elevators and convenience to your customers. An exhausted annoyed and disappointed person seeking storage due to a disaster. I will apologize to the men on site who had to endure my wrath. Good luck with your business.

The personnel who work here are very friendly. I stopped in several times before picking up my truck. The truck had almost no fuel, the A/C on the truck did not work properly, and the cargo area leaked so I now have damage to some of my belongings.
While everyone was very friendly at this location, U-Haul needs to improve its processes on vehicle inspection before they send a truck off the lot.
