Make sure to take picture of every step,They charged me $21 extra plus tax and fees for bringing their vehicle 11 hours earlier, instead of been happy , I even make sure I return it with more gas than I receive ! Ugly act, overcharging people for their hard earn money.

Gandy Blvd. store. Rented a cargo trailer 1/26/24 loaded half of it before realizing the left wheel was loose and the hub and bearings were dried out and rusty without a dust cap. Called road service because that was the only way to get service, people we spoke with weren't concerned and blamed me for not inspecting it before I rented it. That's their job, their slogan Your safety is important to us, is just a trite slogan. On the Spot repair was sent out, they took a video of the loose wheel and hub. I had to unload the trailer and take it back to Gandy myself. Then before they would rent me another one, they wanted me to inspect it. That's their responsibility, not mine. I'm glad I noticed the hub before taking it on a 4000 mile one way trip. Do we have to bring qualified mechanics with us to inspect their equipment before we rent it. I caught it because I owned Jerry and Jim's Auto Clinicfor 30+ years.

I was a little terrified to rent a vehicle here due to the recent negative reviews. I personally had a good experience with them a few years ago and decided to "risk" it since it is the most convenient location around me and my past experience was a non-issue. I am happy to confirm that I had ZERO issues and thought both ladies were super friendly and beyond helpful. I rented a van for a day and returned it without issue. If I ever moved again (please NO!!!), I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again!

Hidden fees, deceptive pricing. You will pay 2-3 times the price that you are quoted regardless of conditions.

I use this location often. The staff is always super friendly and extremely helpful. I've never had any issues in the several years that I have been using this location.

It's a scam. Call center is going to quote you one price, center is going to charge you a different price and then tell you to contact the call center who can't do anything because they didn't take your card info. Find a better company.

We rented two different box trucks here in the last week. They were both pieces of junk. Drove terribly. Then when we returned a truck yesterday they charged us $70 for fuel! We only drove it 20 miles and used probably 2 gallons of fuel. They initially charged us for 8 gallons of fuel which they admitted was a mistake after we called them on it. Then, in tiny print on the contract, they mention that if you return it under 1/4 tank there is a $30 fee. (They had given us the truck at exactly 1/4 tank so any amount of fuel we used would incur that fee!) Total scam. I can't believe how unethical that is. Between the overcharging and the outrageous fees. Called and spoke with Courtney the GM and she was rude, saying she informed us verbally of the $30 fee (which she did not) No apologies for the initial overcharging either. It's clear they don't give a crap about customer service. We had another reservation for this coming weekend which I promptly cancelled. I will never give another dollar to this company.

While the woman that I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and understanding I truly believe that you should have vehicles that have been reserved ready to go instead of having the customer find the vehicle and then bring it around to get the final items per the reservation.Furthermore, if you have your hours posted then make sure you are there for those hours so the customer can return vehicles and equipment. I was set to return the vehicle at 7pm. I was running late and tried calling at 6:55; however, my fiancé had already arrived to pick me up and informed me that the doors were locked. Funny when I was told they closed at 7pm that morning? I would have completely understood if I was late and they couldn't accommodate me but they apparently closed early which is very disappointing.I have rented from UHaul before but I will avoid this location in the future if I need to rent moving equipment.

This is the worst U-Haul I have ever been to. The staff were so rude and inconsiderate. My car broke down in Tampa and I had to rent an auto transport. I told them I was going to Orlando and they made my reservation for an in town why would I go back to Tampa. The lady even knew my situation. Kenisha was so rude. It was like I was bothering her while she was doing her job. Don’t recommend. I was having an awful day and she made it even worse. Customer service is so important. Get more empathetic employees.

The 3 ladies at the counter had a full conversation among each other and never said a word to me until she BURPED IN MY FACE!!! She said excuse me, coffee makes me burp! So DISGUSTING! Then I got in my truck and it smelled like piss!Terrible service and terrible truck!
