This sausage is horrible ! I bought it at WalMart and it pretty much ruined an amazing gumbo I made. It has some spice like rosemary that just overwhelms the taste. Not smoky at all ! Dont buy it !

Long-time customer, purchased Uncle John's Pride sausage for years. Recent purchase of mild sausage, my husband and I felt a crunchy texture while eating the sausage. Found tiny pieces of glass in the sausage. Please investigate thoroughly, quality control.

I would like to start by saying the sausage tastes very good, but they need to do a better job of Quality Assurance. I found a small pieces of what looked to be wire in the meat. I did contact the company and they said they would be getting back to me about this issue. I write this only as a cautionary statement to all who purchase this product, that you may encounter a similar experience and wouldn’t want anyone to get harmed. This is NOT, Repeat, NOT a comment to hurt the company, just a consumer beware.

UJP Hot Country sausage has been my favorite country sausage for over a year now, however they recently changed the recipe and it is nothing like it used to be. No better now then all the other so called Country sausage makers out there. I'll look for something better!
