I found a firearm listed on GunBroker and gave the shop a call to get more details. They answered my questions quickly and thoroughly, so I made the drive over.
Once I arrived, I got to meet the whole team. They were friendly, efficient, and had my purchase processed in under 30 minutes. They even let me inspect the rifling to make sure it was in solid condition. No pressure, just good service.
The used gun prices here are excellent; clearly priced to move, not to collect dust.
There’s a friendly shop dog, and everyone I spoke with treated me like family. Not sure what some of the negative reviews are about. I came in for a listed gun and left with exactly what I expected, no hassle.
I treated them with respect, and they showed me the same. I’d absolutely return. Good people run this place.

Next time a customer walks into your store and asks for a specific gun like a Glock 40. Maybe just shut up and show me the gun instead of trying to talk me into something different and give me shit about how it’s not a good choice.

I was looking for a 380 cheetah, and they were helpful. I've been to many shops, and they made me feel like one of their regular customers . If you need a firearm, they most likely have it this is not a pawn shop it's an Armory👌 lol its a great place you must check out if you love firearms thanks again to the guys and the owner 🇺🇲🇺🇲💪🙏.

Great experience my friends and I have bought 4 guns from them as well as taken the fire safety class with Fabio. Highly recommend Fabio is super helpful and the whole team there is super knowledgeable highly recommend.

This is a great place to buy a gun and the staff here is very friendly. The owner will bend over backwards to help his customers. Charlie and the store have been in the Tampa area almost 40 years and the same location for 35 years.
He is honest and up front. Great staff, great service and friendly people.

Hands down the best firearm selection anywhere near Tampa. These guys have a massive selection of weapons and some of the most difficult to find weapons around. The staff members know their stuff and are friendly and professional. Lastly, price points almost always beat out the competition. If you are into shooting and want quality and selection look no further.

University Gun & Pawn is the Best Gun Shop I have ever had the Opportunity to do business with, I called ahead & Nick was very helpful the next day upon arrival I met Fabio & Frank & Nick in shop. a lot of Firearms dealers dealers are very stiff in their manners like they are concerned of being robbed which is very understandable in the day and age we are in but this shop was very friendly, Helpful and professional and their Prices are great, I felt like they knew me and were happy to see me come back which I will, So every time I see the Firearm I purchased I will remember the great People I met that day for they are more important than anything involving this experience.
