I entered the Northdale UPS Thurs 12/11with reservations. I seldom mail packages other than at Christmas. Last year was Omaha Steaks...easy. This year, situations changed. I would be buying, wrapping, packing, and shipping. I am disabled, so I panicked. I knew USPS would be more complicated and expensive. I talked myself into using this UPS as it was a few blocks away from the Bob Sierra Y after my morning warm-up. I would have them do the packing, especially with one item being liquid and the bigger box going to CA. I told myself that the stress relief alone made it worth it...a Christmas present to myself. At 8:30 when they opened, the door was opened for me by a smiling young man...later learned his name was Shelton. I followed him to the main counter and we discussed what I was working with. I let a few others ahead of me as I was not in a hurry. Shelton professionally packed my items to secure them...I watched him as he certainly knew what he was doing. While, yes, them packing using their materials is more costly, I still knew it was going to be cheaper than USPS and, oh by the way, AARP offers a disc on the materials. Also, when they do it with their materials, there is a higher level of insurance. Shelton finished up, I paid him, thanked him, and said I would be in Monday, today, with one more package. My confidence built by today, I had found a good box, packed my items, but left it open. When I went to the store, Shelton wasn't in yet, but I was greated with another welcoming smile...this time by Kristy. I told her about Thursday, she proceeded to check my work, made a few minor adjustments. Kristy closed out my package and rang me up. Yes, I have written a book, but I feel that having experienced the service by Shelton and Kristy, this UPS location in Northdale is now my go-to package center. Thank you!!

I was just in the store trying to return an Amazon package. The item came in an envelope, which was the original package. A man came out from the back and said, I'll take the next person. I walk up to the counter with the printed shipping label sad envelope. He told me i couldn't use that envelope, I'd have to buy one for $5. I told him that I wasn't going to purchase an envelope for $5. He then said, you can buy the $3. I again said that I wasn't going to purchase any envelopes. I asked him why the shipping label couldn't be taped on the envelop. He said he wasn't going to do that and if I wanted, I could go home and do it myself and return later. Then he proceeded to look over my head and say, next person in line. If these are the people you want to represent UPS, I won't be using them to send anymore packages. I use this store quite frequently and have never been treated like this before.

Glenda went above and beyond to help me with a return. She is very experienced at her job and customer friendly disposition. She made a confusing situation much easier for me. She did this also while multitasking and still helping me.

Glenda(maybe spelled Galinda) was incredibly kind and courteous. Sometimes you just need a friendly face to help ease the stresses of the day. I truly appreciate her fast, efficient service. Thanks for the help Glenda, especially since you didn’t have to but you have a kind heart.

Not sure why the reviews aren't 5/5 at this particular location. I always come to this UPS and everyone is ALWAYS so welcoming!! Jerene has helped me a few times and her customer service is top tier!! I thought she was the manager! She never cares how many packages I have, ever. She multitasks quite a bit no matter how long the line is AND does it all with a smile. Shout out to Jerene and Shelton for making my trips to UPS smooth. They need raises.

The reason I’m giving this store five stars is solely for Galinda. Apologies if I’ve spelled that incorrectly. No one loves going to UPS or any similar type chore related location. But I watched this person handle a completely crowded store with several customers having issues with stoic composure. Rather than be flustered, Galinda moved from person to person, working without any support or peers, knocking out tasks and keeping calm. Anyone who can handle that situation and stay positive is someone I want to work with.

Says that they are open on Sundays until 3pm but they weren’t open at 1pm

The employee at the front was extremely rude, making comments at me as I left the door and making a scene. I felt very uncomfortable and unsure what led her to that behavior. I am extremely disappointed with the service as it's used to be a pleasant experience.

Dominic is the greatest UPS worker of all time. This guy was wheeling and dealing by himself in the store with a huge line of people at the end of the day. Should absolutely have more than one person in the store, but this guy was TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS. Give him a raise please.
