1 star for the pharmacy and the store, but mostly the pharmacy. It’s really bad. Surprisingly so. I’ve experienced some of the rudest encounters. 2/3 of the pharmacists act like they hate you for walking up to the counter. They are miserable and the wait times are comical. They’ve opened 15 minutes late before and we’ve gotten attitude by front desk staff for asking what was going on and when they’d be opening. We’re going to start driving further to get away from this place. Sad because it is not that difficult to get this stuff to a semi acceptable level.

One person in line in front of me...they leave. I step up to register, and say hi. No response. Clerk stops....pulls out lotion/sanitizer, dispenses some into his hands. No words are spoken. We just stand there in silence as he moisturizes. About thirty seconds later, he appears ready to assist me, but notices the bar code on my phone has timed out while waiting for him to finish his skin care regimen. He grunts disapprovingly and points at the screen. I obediently pull it back up and give him the $100 I needed to deposit. He puts the bill in the drawer and hands me my receipt. Transaction apparently over. I walk away.
Zero words were spoken. Truly unbelievable.

Nice store. Such a variety of everything needed quickly & yours got lost or stolen. Can buy fast microwaveable items for vegetarian & non-V appetites. Can then take ask Rep or Cashier to check on items billed to go in back of store to locate any items not shown or found on floor/shelves. Respectfully, the faster you are assisted, the better you will gain a valuable customer!

Pharmacy was great, the last two months every staff has been nasty and rude. Working in the pharmacy for 10 years prior to moving into IT work, I would never treat customer as if I should thank them for giving me my meds. The tech isn’t even helpful if I talked down to someone like that I would be fired or discipline. Time has changed since I was in the pharmacy and kindness isn’t there anyone.

Bfs Mom went shopping there; 3 days prior we had been there and warned the cashier their system needed to be checked because when we checked out it told us and the lady in front of us that our PINS were wrong. We use cash registers too, so we knew if she was just using PIN bypass it was just a temporary band-aid and not a solution. Well, his Mom was doing Easter shopping and their system went down during her transaction. The money came out of her bank though. They made her wait 30 minutes at the store while they rebooted it so they could refund all her items, and were going to ring her back up. Problem was, the refund wouldn't hit for 10 MORE DAYS. If they were smart which they don't seem to be, they would have checked their back end and made sure they received the money, because if it comes out of a bank it goes somewhere. She had such a high bill that she couldn't afford to repurchase everything
and was very frustrated at that point. Instead they alienated someone who was a loyal customer who would spend a lot and shop frequently. Now she won't go back. What a shame because she preferred there due to not being able to go the distance at the back of stores any more, but she also can't wait till her next paycheck to re do Easter either.

This Walgreens pharmacy is a hot mess. Understaffed pharmacy = stressed, rude pharmacists. Waited 20 minutes in line with two antsy young children only to be told that there was an indefinite wait for a vaccine, even though I had scheduled an appointment that was now overdue. There was a person still waiting for a vaccine ahead of me, and there was a long line of cars at the drive-through window. When I asked how long the wait would be she accused me of wanting to cut the line. I promptly left. She also told the woman in front of me "Your doctor might have called but we're not able to pick up the phone or receive voicemails." Yikes. Good luck getting what you need here. They are not helpful or kind, and this place is not worth your time. The Publix Pharmacy on Neptune is much more professional and organized.

This is my new pharmacy after moving to Tampa. I don’t even know how they do it! Angela is the nicest pharmacy manager I have ever met. She works with you, treats you like you’re a human, and has empathy. If I could give them a 6 star review, I would. I have epilepsy along with two other disabilities, and they always make sure I have my medication. God bless everyone working at this pharmacy! My angels looking over me. They deserve the world and so much more for how much they’ve helped me and so many other people. I’m so happy you are still able to call them unlike cvs where you can’t call at all!

Will was so awesome in customer service, people skills, knowledge of products, and stock levels. He was extremely busy but remained cool,calm, positive,and attentive especially when others were not available he literally ran the front desk and the whole front of the store while co- workers said they had other things to do.He personally helped me with the photo machine so he definitely went beyond the call of duty. You are lucky to have him .
