On 1/13/25 my husband bought a walker for his next day knee surgery. Turned out it was defective and on 1/19/25 I returned it to store 4512 (5709 Gunn Hwy Tampa Fl). I needed another one but they had none in stock but manager on duty Pete took the time to call another store to locate one for me and had them pull it up to the register for when I arrived. I so appreciated his going above and above for my husband's needs. Thanks so much!

My preferred Walgreens, which is less than 1 mile from this location, did not have my medication in stock and could not order it due to it being on back order. I called this location since it’s the next closest one, and they told me they could not assist me because they are not accepting “new patients” yet, they were able to pull up my information in their system. I’ve been getting my medicine filled at Walgreens for years, I am far from a new patient. The lady I spoke to was rude and callus, wouldn’t even let me talk. I’ve had to pick up my script from other locations in the past and had no issue. Weird interaction, if you don’t want to do your job then find another one.

This is probably the worst customer service I've ever had at a Walgreens pharmacy. They really need some training in how to answer the phone, only place a person on hold maybe two times but politely ask the customer instead of quickly saying Walgreens pharmacy please hold and click. I've also experienced bad customer service skills in the drive-thru. Please take some pointers from Chick fil a on how to speak to customers. It makes me want to go to a different pharmacy. As soon as my insurance changesy pharmacy will also be changing.

If I could give zero stars I would the pharmacy closes at 8pm I called and the person on the line said they will fill my prescription and I can head to the store for there 7:40pm two cars were ahead of me and the line was not moving if they looked on their cameras I was there in line for atleast 15min. When I get up to the drive window they closed the window and put a sign up and started putting their silver door down. I’m sorry but that is just rude I get they want to go home but if I was there before 8pm I should of still been able to get my prescription very rude and unprofessional

The associate at Walgreens at Gunn Hwy Mr Ron made my day better. He helped me whatever I was looking for. I would highly recommmend going there to get whatever you need to make you feel better. Health is wealth! Thank You Ron and God bless you!

If I could give zero stars for their pharmacy, I would. I tried to get a simple question answered, and every time I called, they would put me on hold over and over and over again. I tried three days straight, and I got the same treatment.
I was a loyal customer for years. I'm done. I would recommend anyone reading this to avoid them like the plague. They are absolutely the most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever had to deal with—bar none.

Over the past two years, Walgreens Pharmacy - Store #3128 has provided exceptional care in managing my prescription medications. Dr. Tej, Dr. Karim, Jay, Desiree, Aja, Jade, Demetria, and the entire pharmacy team—go above and beyond to ensure my needs are met. They've found solutions during medication shortages and offered excellent support even when overwhelmed or impacted by natural disasters like hurricanes.
Highly recommend this pharmacy for their outstanding service and dedication!

On 9/7/24 I was at drive-thru it was 10 minutes before 6 PM. I finally got to the window and was told by the young lady at drive-thru we’re running behind but I’m sorry it’s 6:05 PM we close at 6:00 PM. I asked to speak with the pharmacist who is normally there. It was a different pharmacist. I’ve never seen before and explained that I really needed my medication and showed him the reason why he said yeah I’m sorry we were running late but we closed at 6 PM . I told him I was at drive-thru for 10 minutes. I never leave negative comments. I am just stating the facts I hope that this never happens to anyone that needs their medicine. I said they could even pull cameras. At the end, I said thank you to the pharmacist for his empathy and drove away

The pharmacy is closed, but the store and photo department are not. I went into Walgreens on Mother’s Day to have my God son’s photo enlarged for his upcoming graduation party. DJ, the young man working alone at the front had a few customers waiting for him, but still took the time to help me with my photos…all while being kind, and professional. Great job DJ. Your management should surely consider you for promotion.

This is the worst pharmacy in Tampa. The drive thru is slow unless there aren't any carsdon't even bother to attempt to get in line. And then when you reach the window either your 2 day old request is not ready or it's only partially filled. Every single time.

I was almost scammed by the recent Spectrum/Target 50% off phone call scam. Luckily for me, two employees were savvy enough to realize I was stepping into a horrible, fraudulent loss of money for me. They were kind enough to inform me I was being deceived. I am grateful.
