if I could give negative 5 stars i would. DO NOT COME HERE. this place is infested with roaches. On the first night I stood there I saw not one or two or 3 , FIFTEEN ROACHES. I slept in my car. they will refuse u a refund and not to mention nobody is there after 9 pm so if u don't have ur room key card ur screwed. Nobody will come to open ur door And maintenance won't pick up. don't be out of money and a place to stay . there's a reason u can't leave a review on Google.

1st the room was infested with fleas. Next room filthy dirty ! Then after 5 nights there and paying for a month upfront they asked me to leave because I complained that the room next door was screaming and beating the walls with a woman crying for help! This place is a dump and is looking to cheat you at every turn. BEWARE …. RUN …… away !!

Rooms are nice but not cleaned properly. There were insects in the room in every corner. The wifi was too slow, even not working some time. Staff is very cooperative. If you get lucky enough to find someone.

Stayed for a year until they hired the horrible receptionist Tiffany that has the costumer service skills of a pit bull! She has been kicking good people with children out and allowing a drug addict to sleep in the hallways and even to stay in empty rooms with out paying! She is manipulative and extremely rude she tells guests she owns the property and can do whatever she wants! I hope and pray karma bites her soulless self!!

I'm not blaming West Wing. Covid did a number on many business. This use to be one of my favorite secret getaway spots in Tampa. The courtyard was well maintained and perfect for yoga or simple meditation. Now it feels run-down and unkempt. Makes me sad. I'm not blaming West Wing. But l wish the old days were back.

I cannot recommend the West Wing Hotel to anyone, and it definitely isn’t a “boutique hotel.” I purchased a 4 night stay over Hotwire, and I thought I was getting a good deal as it was promoted as a 3 star boutique hotel. Ha. Attempts have been made to upgrade its appearance to a more modern look at some point, but it’s an old motel for which a perfect analogy would be “you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.” It’s dingy, it’s full of mold, and service is poor. For what you pay, you could certainly stay somewhere much, much nicer. The first room given to us, we went straight back to the front desk because the mold was overpoweringly strong and my husband is very allergic to mold and mildew. We were given another room that was marginally better; by the end of our stay, he was congested, coughing, and breaking out into rashes. The room was dirty and wasn’t adequately stocked with linens. When we asked the front desk for washcloths, we were told they were out of them. Washcloths. Not even towels. Front desk staff was not friendly, and they told us that room service only comes when you’re ready to check out. We visit Tampa a few times a year to see family, and we will never stay at The West Wing Hotel again.

DO NOT BE FOOLEDLet me start off saying this: I am a person who will give ratings to places honestly, but also generously if I feel it was a good place (even if not as nice as advertised).this place is the exact OPPOSITE of advertised. No breakfast - advertised on Priceline and Google. NONE. Not even a breakfast roomCoffee beans in auto coffee maker were very old and it barely workedNo room cleaning - we stayed 5 days and not once did they clean our room, No new towels, no anything.Room was unclean - hair everywhere, torn sheets, broken air conditioner, plates in cabinet were dirty, and keurig coffee maker was brokenI think the worst part was that there was nobody up front ever except in the morning and around 6 pm. We needed towels one night at 8,and they put up an "out to lunch" sign. This is honestly the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at... Not because it was bad, but because it was advertised as a good place and had good reviews (which they flaunt in the bare lobby).I am warning anyone looking: TRUST THIS REVIEW. my wife almost cried the 3rd night in. Between the hotel quality, the random midnight kids running up hallway, the group of people talking loud and playing loud music on a speaker in hallway at night, to the multiple doemstic arguments and door slams..... It is NOT WORTH IT.Oh and they charge you a daily cleaning fee, and do not clean.

Hopefully advancement is coming soon …If your on a work trip… forget it NO WIFI ITS HORRIBLE. We experienced a fire alarm ? drill with no warning just disturbing! The side door is broken, I have to walk around or park far from my room just to get inside. Never had a free breakfast that’s false advertising! The laundry room is a hit or miss. They have a cool staff I can say. But if your planning a vacation no pool is here unfortunately! The owner should be more aware of guest needs and property issues it’s been a week, how does no one have WiFi for a week? Pay your bills Mr/Mrs! Hire more people or something keep the hallways clean it’s not a boutique it’s a basic hotel. The area is perfect but the service needs more work. I guess they never heard you have to spend money to make money cause it’s a fancy name with a cheap experience that’s a red flag.

Worst experience, we called to confirm the reservation hours before and were told the check in was until 1am when we get to the hotel at 11pm there was no one at the front desk, we were literally stranded since all the hotels nearby were sold out.
