Store was open & within store hours but door was locked..the store is already basically armored so even if a employee had to use the restroom there would be no reason to lock the door .

so i went to am scot to pay a credit card, 400 dollars. the girl said it would go active in 30 minutes, wrong 2 days later it still didnt go through. i went in to find out whats going on, i said it is an wire transfer it takes minutes. they said it could take 3 days but its a weekend that makes it 5 days that my money is floating around. thats bulshit its more like in their account collecting interest. multiply that by millons of people and thats how this company makes money. never again will i go there. its my money

I have been several times and they had always treated me correctly but on my last visit I arrived 30 minutes before closing time and the man who attended me was very rude to me, he cheated on me and made me lost $ 500. Amscot is not responsible and the bad person is still working there.

Very disappointed in the customer service. So rude and playing like they are Gods on this earth. Since I came in America ( 20 years ago ) never felt this much insulted. But thanks to you Amscot and people that works for you you just did that. I was always feeling strange when I come to the store because of there attitude. But today was over the top. As usually I came to pick up money Wester Union that my mom send it to me. Tony was very very rude. He was asking me questions that that they "need " to asked because of "govrement" but then continuing asking personal question why my mother sending me money in two different transaction, do I know that is "illegal ", do I know that , do I know this ..... Because she is trying to help me as much as she can. Is that enough good answer ? And then it didn't stop there he continue to telling me how she won't be able to do that anymore , they will not allowed he and on and on and on. I show him that he went to far more than his profession allowed him as a just Amscot teller, but he had very bad attitude. I finally left the place because It was over the top of him thinking he gonna make me miserable. His job is to ask me just who is sending and why ( if even that because in other Wester union places they ask you just who and how much ), but to play police !!! Like i came to still that money ? that was to much. There is other institution that can ask me and if it is crime that mother try to help daughter, self employee then we lost all sence of family and humanity. Everybody get offended so easy but when guy like that start attacking mother - women ( 5 ft tall) that was even nice to him then I do not know how Amscot thinks to survive in this time of modern world with this customer service. To bad , you just lost one of nice customer and I am not gonna ever go to Amscot - never ever . Amscot needs to shame how they are doing this busness. We are not here because of them but they are here because of us. Very bad. And if I can give zero start I will do that , and I do not remember when I gave less then 5 stars anybody. Sham on you Amscot and your customer service.

Just got a new job and am waiting for my first paycheck. After giving them all the information they requested, they called my bank to double check i wasn't lying and then turned me away because i haven't received my first paycheck, which is the only reason i went there in the first place. So if you need a loan during the time of need, make sure you're still getting paid first lol
