“My car was in the shop at my car dealer's and I was given a rental until my car was fixed. I was taken to Enterprise and walked in to get my rental car. The young woman at the counter was very pleasant and gave me a choice of a few cars. I decided on one, we got the paperwork done, and I was on my way! “No cars...again. Two hours before I was scheduled to pick up my rental I was contacted by Countryside and was advised that they had no car for me. I was told to contact Customer Service. I tried that but realized after being on hold for a bit my only hope was getting a car at the Tampa Bay International Airport. The airport said they had a car for me. Since I was in the Dunedin area I had to take Uber X at a cost of about $50.00 to get to the airport. The cost increase did not end there. Airport fees and taxes added another $55.00 to the rental cost. I have sent four email requests for a review of the charges and I am still waiting for some resolution. I should have known better to rent from here based on the many one star reviews and the big factor, in my eyes, the owner does not respond to any reviews, positive or negative. This tells me he is not engaged with his business and more importantly with his customers. Avoid this business.”

“I rented a car through Avis/Budget for a week and was not disappointed. This is one of the only rental agencies I've seen that accepts a debit card w/ a credit check of course, making it super easy to get a more than decent car. Very friendly staff who answered all of my questions with a smile, and helped with the best price around town. Be sure to check them out the next time you think about vacationing!”
“I initially had a rental reservation with enterprise, this reservation was on the books for almost 3 weeks. They even called to confirm I was picking up the vehicle and knew I was adding a driver, but when I arrived to my appointment to rent a vehicle, they required the additional driver, my daughter, to also have a major credit card, a new thing for enterprise I suppose. This major piece of information wasn’t mentioned on their website or, mentioned during the confirmation phone call they made to me, so I called Kathy at budget at 5 o’clock. She closed at 5:30. She said she had a vehicle for me and would wait for me to get there. It was about a 30 minute ride. She is a lifesaver. She was so kind she was quick. We got in and out of there without any issue. I would definitely recommend budget for a rental vehicle to anyone that I know. Thank you Kathy!!”
