I do not recommend this dealership my XC40/4 years old, 30,000 some odd miles, has a serious safety issue in which no-one can fix. My vehicle sounds an alarm and then stops short at any speed on any road at any time and because the team at Tarpon Volvo cannot duplicate nor fix the issue, I was told I may never return to the Tarpon Volvo dealership ever again for no reason whatsoever, and I am left with a serious safety issue.

I always disliked the process of buying a car. I really liked a particular car advertised at Ferman Volvo. Working with Jim Baker was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. The whole team was really a pleasure to work with. It was all no nonsense and straight forward. I've never been through the entire purchasing process so quickly and efficiently. While this dealer is not the closest to me, I will definitely be a ;loyal customer. Thank you, guys!

Definitely the best car buying experience I’ve had in my decades of buying new cars. Jim Baker, my salesperson, and the entire team were very professional and not at all pretentious or pushy. They located the car that matched my specifications to a T. They made the price negotiation pleasant, and offered a fair price. I had shopped around and Ferman Volvo beat the best price of the ”big city” dealer by thousands! The delivery process was easy and helpful. Chris Roy was FANSTACTIC! I wish there was a better adjective to describe Chris. I have so much I want to share that I don't even know where to start and I will probably not cover it all. First, I should let you know that I have been in the automotive industry selling cars for over 20 years. I currently sell Chevy's at Ferman Chevrolet of Tampa. In years past I have always purchased or leased from myself. For the last several years I have been on a Volvo sedan kick.I always strive to give a great experience to all of my guest, but never seem to have the same experience. I was in a lease that was not up till May of 2024. Based on the market, limited availability and the money factors continuing to go up. I thought I should probably start my research & process. I also knew that Volvo had a pretty good lease " pull ahead" program. I also knew that I wanted the same vehicle that I currently had. I contacted several local dealers and spoke to several salespeople to find out they were not able to answer my basic questions. I was totally frustrated & stressed. I told myself I can't do this. I know that I am not an easy person, but it was a little ridiculous. I remember talking to Chris several times when I first moved here from MD. I also remember a mentor from many years ago telling me to always go to the top. I called Chris at one of our sister stores and told him exactly what I wanted and to my surprise he had allocation in his order bank. He was absolutely amazing! He explained the pull ahead program in detail and told me that I could probably have my new 2024 Volvo S60 AWD Ultimate with the Dark Essential Package by the end of September middle of October. He sent me my build right away within a few minutes of hanging up the phone for me to review and confirm. His attention to detail was great. He kept me informed of any updates & the ETA. I never had to call him to find out was going on with my vehicle or the status.Once, my Volvo arrived at the dealership, he contacted me to let me know and paired me with Josh McCain one of his sales consultants. Josh emailed me many pictures of my new baby. I didn't even know if I was going to like the color. In the meantime, I submitted my credit application and Chris had my approval in less than 10 mins.When I arrived at the dealership, Josh greeted me with a big smile. He was great as well. The best way to describe Josh, is a true professional. He was kind, informative, great personally & attitude. He had everything ready and had many gifts and accessories for me. They both went way above and beyond. Their attention to detail and perfection is second to none. This was by far my best buying experience in over 30 years of buying cars. Thank you, Chris & Josh, for the exceptional experience. You will have a customer for life (or until I decide to purchase a Tahoe or Silverado 1500)...lol I was sad to say good-bye to "brady" my old Volvo...I am in love with "Kelly" my new Volvo. If you are in the market for a Volvo. Make sure you do not go anyway where else, and you ask for Chris & Josh the dynamic dual!

I must say Ferman Volvo goes the extra mile! They are the most responsive dealership in the area and still value their customers! They literally responded in minutes to my needs and followed through on every promise! 5 star experience!

This dealership would be five stars based on the initial sales staff and service department. Unfortunately, those positives must be weighed against the endless paper and email spam that we receive from this dealership on a continuous basis. Printed the USPS and email from the dealership would surely weigh more than the vehicle we purchased. We have tried. There is no way to shut off this spam. The junk mail and email is never ending and completely out of scale with anything we have ever seen from any other dealership.

Very disappointed. Salesman Lou was rude. Wasn’t helpful - when he went to his manager - came back and said the car price was higher than the online price, added back in $2000 that was incentives and said they would waive them.

No thanks. Our Volvo XC60 has the oil consumption issue with the failing piston rings. We have had 2 "passing tests" even though I've had to add several quarts of oil. Neither Volvo nor Ferman Volvo seem to care. Took the Volvo in today and they gave me $3000 estimate and said we will pull you car up front to leave...so strange. Definitely not going back to Ferman Volvo for any service and done with Volvo too.

I dealt with Josh and as others mentioned he is very personable. I traded my 2020 volvo for a 2023 xc40 fully electric car. However I only received one incentive because no others were offered. I’ve since learned that if I wait there are more offered. Also there were no complimentary gifts. I only say this because when I bought my first Volvo there I received a hat and a stainless steel travel mug ??♀️. I do love my car but I wish I would have know that there aren’t that many charging stations near my home but we did install one in the garage.

One star for the nice guys but I took my s60 in for the 100,000 mile service and I’ve had nothing but issues starting one week later that I never had before, my car has literally cost me $3000 in the last two months so that makes zero sense I don’t recommend taking your car for a service there due to my experience.

I buy multiple cars and trucks a year for my business and personal use I have visit multiple dealership thru out this process I met several sales employees, finance manager dealer personal etc… I gotta say the process at this location was by far one of the easiest process I’ve been thru lately, Josh, Colton and the whole team was highly efficient and above and beyond, despite I never bought a Volvo before and I currently don’t own one I will be back there to get other cars that’s a fact… Every min of the day counts for me and efficiency while closing a deal it’s means a lotttttty… Highly recommend this guys

We found our Volvo online in January and drove down from Tallahassee a couple of days later. Michael Kashtan was there for us from the start. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process and made the whole experience enjoyable! The staff, including the finance manager, Ricco were so friendly and professional. We are so pleased with our purchase and will contact him when we are shopping again!

Love my new XC40! Our salesman Jim Baker was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.I would have given 5 stars but, a few of the other employees werenot friendly at all.If it were not for Jim, I would have taken my business elsewhere.As a customer I appreciate feeling welcomed and if I say hello,the least you can do is greet me with hello .

Could not be happier with our experience at Ferman Volvo!My wife and I found a car on their site and called to see if it was still available.Josh McCain held the car for us and we went by to look at it.Our entire experience with Josh was absolutely fantastic. There was no pressure ever, and no shady car salesman tactics with which we are all too familiar.They worked with us on our trade in and price of the vehicle we were buying.Dan the finance dude was great as well.Both Josh and Dan are a credit to the dealership and mean I'll consider Ferman Volvo if I need to buy a car again.
