So me and my fiance stayed here for a wedding. We brought all our clothes and belongings into the room. We grabbed some food to have when we got back. Walking up to the room we could smell the overpowering stench of mold. Carpets everywhere which held the smell and discoloration from all the uncleanliness. We paid already so we decided to keep on with the room for a few nights. When we returned from visiting tarpon springs we Showered and went looking to eat some of the fresh food we just bought. As we opened all the packages we noticed there was a bunch of ants all over the food. As we looked further around the counter they were all up the walls, all over the counter, on the floor just everywhere. So naturally we had to throw all the food out and had to get more for our vacation. We of course informed the managers and we were told to contact the main offices. So we continued to alert the top people of the current problems and all we were told were we could be given a $25 discount for the inconvenience. We paid 140 a might and we're very disappointed. I would advice traveling to the surrounding areas to have much better rooms, better breakfast and of course better service and managementNearby activities: Other hotels

Anyone thinking about staying at this property I would recommend you think twice I called central reservations. They gave me one price put me through the hotel. They gave me a higher price when I tell the young lady on the phone this her response is well then you should make the reservation through them. All I was trying to do was help you get a room for a coworker for a week who’s in need of help stay away from this resort no compassion

The food was amazing. The room smelled very good and the hallways. The pool was right outside our room. It’s very close to the sponge docks where you can eat, relax, and look at the boats and the scenery. Very nice beaches around. The breakfast was very good and tasty.

Well it's a given when the place reps its name as quality you wouldn't expect any less, and they live to their name. Another one of the many stops to stay for the night the service was exceptional. The rooms were pretty decent, overall I had a good time during my stay here, not a single thing I viewed to be bad or out of place and would stay again if I were in the area.Noteworthy details: Staff are willing and ready to assist you with any of your needs that may arise, just don't forget to ask.

I'm sure this used to be a nice hotel, but now it smells and is a bit run down. We were at the for a conference so it was our only option. I will definitely advocate for a different location next year.Rooms: Needed a refresh and update. Shower pressure was awful.

I want to share my experience in checking in. I go through the process of checking in and the attendant is a older white guy with a long ponytail. He mentions that the hotel room is no smoking then proceeds to mention jokingly no smoking monkeys...I am mentioning this here because this can be offensive since I am black and he seemed comfortable saying this to a black tenant. Do better since you sir are the smoking monkey! Other than that the rooms are okay...nothing special, parking is far from rooms and there is a weird odor in the hallways..for a hotel this expensive you would think the quality and service would be better...Walkability: Pafrom the parking lot to my room is very inconvenient.

This hotel is very rundown. There was flooring coming up in the room in several places. The ceiling was peeling, floors and A/C were filthy. Curtains were stained and the room smelled musty. We only stayed due to the close proximity of the family we were visiting. On the positive side the clerk was very nice. We definitely won't be staying there again.

Be careful. Check the smoke alarm in your room. Very very old & I had maintenance check it & battery was dead & not electric backup & no carbon monoxide detectors either. No sprinklers in the entire hotel. Fire trap & they said it passed fire inspection recently. Really?? This was in tarpon springs fl. Also breakfast buffet?? Really?

It's a great hotel to stay with the family. The rooms were very clean. The people who work there were very kind and attentive. They offer a delicious breakfast and it is close to the tourist area. Thank you!

Don't recommend Quality Inn & Suites Tarpon Springs South at all. No hot food for breakfast such as eggs, bacon, turkey sausages. Simply waffles, cereal, oatmeal, white bread, coffee and tea. Not worth the price of $200+ for one night, despite it being Taylor Swift The Eras Tour weekend. Check-in process was smooth and room was spacious. However we did see a tiny roach in the bathroom; in addition the A/C unit is very close to the bed. Bed needs to be further away as the blowing of the air was a bit excessive despite it being needed to cool the room down.

Not the Ritz Carlton, but for the price, pretty OK. The place has some age and shows in a few areas, but it was clean and organized. The suite we had was huge with a separate king size bed area (that had doors) with a balcony overlooking the pool area. The grounds were clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Will stay here again.

Nice hotel, good breakfast with a decent variety of options. Staff is nice and accommodating, rooms are large and well kept, seem relatively updated except for the bathrooms. Comfortable bedding and pillows, depending on the room you may have a balcony or a porch, both are nice. Great value for the QualityThe thing that brings this rating down is the area seems a mix between nice and run-down. I noticed a handful of things during my stay, one of the side doors to the outside was duct taped both on the latch and the strike plate rendering room passes practically useless as anyone could enter. (Tried it both with and without my pass/key) unsure if it was broken and due for repair but still odd. Down the street you'll find a collection of odd shops that seem out of business but you'll also find lively strip mall shopping as well and it's very close to Tarpon Springs Spine Docks. Also ran into a rather upfront individual/guest when checking in for my room, granted it was very early (2am) who seemed a little strange but other than that, this is a great little hotel with nice guest services and amenities.Rooms: Excellent value, spacious, and comfortable.Nearby activities: Sponge docksSafety: Strange people around.Food & drinks: Bar and vending machines, good breakfast

Ok place to stay if wanting a place to rest. the lock on our van was tampered with so we wonder how secure it is here. We spent 2 nights here in April. Bed was clean. Bathroom clean. No carpet on floors which was very nice. Balcony to our room was filthy. Each time we tried to sit out on balcony you could really smell natural gas smell. Looks to not have been cleaned for months. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The room below us must have been used for a boiler or plumbing center. We heard a lot of hissing like some sort of boiler. There were people drinking out of pickup trucks late into evening in back. Seemed odd to us.Pool area was clean. Breakfast area clean.
