“I went there with a friend of mine to a place called "Mammas" a Greek Restaurant late at night ( around 12 am) to listen to a live group that plays there old style Greek music every Friday and Saturday. I have to tell you guys that as a modern European who grew up on EDM and American artists like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Bad Boys, this music was something else and this group makes this a very special place. The music was unbelievable and very hard to describe it but it created the atmosphere of love, happiness, and just peace! It's great for a date night or just going alone to listen. I don't think a lot of people know about this Greek restaurant turning to a wine bar at night. The group is made out of 3 people. A singer, a guy who plays a guitar, and my dear friend Bo, who plays the electronic piano, which is like the rest of the instruments that he controls all by himself and I mean to the tune! When he first showed me what he does for a living, I understood but didn't get it. It took at least 6 meetings seeing him talk about his work and playing music on his phone to understand it, but once I saw it live, guys wow, I mean, wow, old style Greek music, and the singer was so special too! I mean, it was just so lovely and refreshing to listen to them play and the way that Gorge Clooney style guy sang, so slow and soulful, but nothing like New Orleans when I say soulful. It has nothing to do with Jazz. It doesn't even sound like it! It's something else, and you just gonna have to check it out for yourselves! Have fun!”

“We love shopping in this area! TJ Max is the best, Beals, Big Lots, Ulta, Publix! Our favorite “fast food” hibachi express, our go to nail salon Got Nails. The Walmart is very small and does not carry everything but it’s great if you have a small list! This area has so much shopping in such a small area it’s wonderful! If you’re looking for a great afternoon of shopping in a condensed area go here!”

“I can find almost everything at this square, from major retail stores to banks and fast food. Unfortunately, there used to be a restaurant but it is no longer there. I spend most of my shopping there..”

“I always find something unique and special at the shops in the Sponge Docks. Very reasonable prices and very unusual gifts. I especially love the candy store and the fudge store. On this trip I purchased tiny little mini rosaries in multicolored crystals that were very detailed and they were also a necklace. They were in a tiny bottle. Drove back there today to purchase more of them for my friends. Tried to find them online and could not and what they were offering was not nearly as nice or as reasonably priced.. my friend also likes the olive oil lotions and soaps and insists on going there every time she's in town to purchase more”
