Terrible behaviour, unprofessional and rude! We went to the store looking for something specific and his words were "If you don't want to buy something, I don't want to be schooled on". Basically saying that I don't care at all what you're looking for as clients, all I want is your money or gtfo. Very rude, not the attitude to conduct business,no wonder why his store is always empty.

Extremely rude behaviour!! We went inside his store looking for something very specific and before we even showed him(John) what we wanted he said "If you don't want to buy, I don't want to be schooled on" basically saying I want your money or gtfo. Not the right attitude to conduct business and win a client over! No wonder why your store is always empty!!

This is a wonderful find in Tarpon Springs. The owner has taken their time in finding unique pieces from all over the US and Central America. The set up of the shop is clean and open without the clutter. I love the mix of antiques and art of all kinds. Well done.

This is another interesting little store on Tarpon Ave. As I learned in the Train Depot museum nearby, Tarapani's was one of the first businesses in the area. It was a major store. I like that the flooring is original. I don't know if anyone from the family that opened the store is involved in it today, but it has a really eclectic blend of items. There is a lot of Guatemalan crafts as well as an array of pottery from different studios. The folk art crafts are really cool. All kinds of wooden statues of people, some of which are saints. The masks I took a picture of are also Guatemalan. They were so cool, but then, I love masks. There is also some antiques. I ended up not buying anything but it was fun to look.
