The most honest and humane mechanics I have ever met. They always try to fix your problem and do not try to charge you for unnecessary things. I always recommend them, they are the best in the area. Always very grateful to Larry and Nick.

Frist thing is lies. had my transmission rebuilt. Justin the new owner said he was still using Larry to rebuild transmission's. Which is a lie. Called justin many times after he gave me his cell number we talked twice he said he would take care of it then I call and the number is not his anymore can't talk to him he's never in the shop spent over 2000 dollars and it is screwed bad can't drive it any more. I'm a disabled fire fighter with low income. Thanks justin. Can't trust anyone

Took my son's truck there for transmission rebuild . needless to say after 2 1/2 months of having it.. 2 days later same problem.. charged 2250 for it .. now I'm fighting for the money back . had to take it to another shop to be repaired correctly . and actually got a receipt. Do not trust these people . they should be shut down ASAP

I definitely recommend Accurate transmissions. I went there because I thought my transmission was acting up in a Nissan 370z, turns out I just had a bad wheel hub bearing. The technicians were honest and up front about the problem and adjusted the original quote to match the cost of parts/labor for the work I needed done. Omar was very accommodating keeping me up to date on when parts came in and I noticed they keep a clean work floor. I will be going back in the future for other work I need done.

I'm going to start off with the good news right off of the bat with this review. Going to Accurate Transmissions saved me $1300 and possibly more! I had a shudder in my 2006 Avalon and took it to Firestone to get the tires rotated. I was told by Firestone if the shudder didn't not go away with the tire rotation, it could be my transmission. So I took my car to a transmission shop in Mt. Dora to take a look at it. Long story short, after two frustrating days of not being called back and then getting a quote for a bad torque converter and being told my car had been very poorly maintained by the previous owner, I was told it would take $1900 to fix my car. I didn't want to invest another $1900 into this 2006, so I called around to the other transmission shops in the triangle area, and Accurate Transmissions would not give me a commitment on pricing or even commit to the fact that it could be a transmission problem. They told me that in their experience Avalon Toyotas of the age of my car don't typically have transmission issues and they wanted to test drive it to see for themselves before they gave me any ballpark figures on a transmission repair. That showed me they were honest, so I took the car in. I was impressed with both Roy and Larry, how they run their shop, and felt comfortable going with them. They diagnosed a problem with the front axle and had it repaired in two days for $650, $30 less than they quoted me because the labor was 30 minutes less than they estimated. That is honesty right there. I've been driving the car post repair now, and there is a well defined improvement in the handling of the car, the comfort of the drive, and the shudder is completely gone. Plus, I saved $1300 thanks to the trust they built with wanting to drive the car before giving an estimate on the repair. It was a good lesson for me to take the time needed to interview several repair shops before committing to an expensive repair. It's a hassle and inconvenience to take the extra day to make the calls and so forth, but worth it in the end! It's hard to get to really know your mechanic until they have done several repairs for you, but they will be getting the business on my next repair for certain!

Wow!!!! This place does not care to have your business. I called for a quote on a clutch and flywheel for a Nissan 350z. The associate, Roy or Rory asked why I wanted a flywheel. Why does it concern him if I want to buy a flywheel or not and besides, if he has been doing this for 50 years as he says, he would know that you have to replace the flywheel when replacing the clutch on a Nissan 350z. He then states that he can't give me a quote so I ask him how I need to proceed. Drive the car to his shop or what just to get a quote. He then says he can't help me today and hangs up. Entire phone call lasted just over 1 minute. Terrible attitude and customer service.

I've had great work done by this shop in the past and wanted to use them again, stopped by and found them closed with a for sale sign on the property.

Took my truck in for a diagnosis over a month ago, and about a week in I called for an update but nobody answered. So I went down there and my truck is still sitting there, but the place is locked up tight with no signs of life during business hours. It's been like that since then. I've called several times and left messages but have heard nothing. Are you guys closing up shop? Would be nice to get a response!!
