A few weeks ago I broke my glasses. I had to go to post ofc which is next door to dg. Never been in this store. A very nice helpful girl directed to me where I could find them. Got them and she was busy doing something but asked if I needed to check out. Yes please. I hate self check out. I asked her if I had picked out the correct strength not only that but offered to cut the tag off. How thoughtful and a very pleasant attitude. Elderly like myself really do appreciate kindness. Sorry didn't get her name. Thank you

Super rude bleach blonde employee. The store still wasn’t open 5 mins after opening time so I called and she coped an attitude over the phone that it would be open in a “few mins” like I was rude for asking if the store was open when it was 5 mins past and she still had everything locked up and dark. Then she waited another 5 plus minutes before unlocking the front door and just walking away without saying a word and giving a dirty look. If you aren’t capable of being an opening employee and doing your job on time and correctly then you shouldn’t be on that shift it’s not the customers fault for wondering why it’s not open after opening time. Before this I had nothing but great experiences here as it’s a new location but not sure if I will be returning after this.

Very convenient location. Downside is the store is always a mess, dirty floors and merchandise everywhere. However the customer service is usually good. But today associate Kory was very rude and snippy. So maybe a redo in customer care for her. Do better next time Kory.

Store is extremely dirty, check out the picture I posted here of the spider webs with the eggs all over the outside door! The same was true all around the windows! The cashier was pleasant however.

This is the worst dollar general In Lake County. I've been here multiple times and every time I go their cash register freezes and everyone in line has to wait around till dollar generals ancient registers decide to work. I think whoever is running this place should be fired for wasting so many of their patrons time and not doing what's important getting new registers
