“The pictures on the website don’t really do this place justice, it really is terrific and tremendous value for money - the view across the bay is spectacular, there’s a lovely air of relaxation about the place, it’s quiet and relaxed, rooms are really good. There’s kayaks and bikes to use, and a couple of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Service friendly. Definite place to stop.”

We also have to recognize Tara at the bar. She is a phenomenal bartender! Every drink she made was superb, perfectly crafted, and served with a smile. Her friendly attitude and outstanding service made spending time at the bar one of the highlights of our trip.

The property itself was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Ocean Pointe Suites to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!”

“I absolutely ❤️ this gem, its like we stepped back in time to Florida circa 1965. The bungalows are updated, clean and well cared for but the vibe of the property is that of times gone by. It's tranquil yet has recreational options available. We came on Christmas and found it decorated fun and whimsical with lots of red and white lights, decorations and characters. The fantastic staff welcomes you very personally and caters to each guests. There is a food truck for breakfast items that is complimentary. The wonderful woman, Peg, does accept donations for Take Stock in Children. She told me she has mentored four young women through the program. I don't know that there is a better place to stay in all of the Florida Keys! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is and hope it stays just the way it is.”

“Weve been going to Popps since the mid 80s. Starting going there in my late teens. It's my favorite place to stay when I come to the Keys. There is Nothing like walking out of your room right onto the private beach. ❤️ The View at Sunset will take your breath away....FACT. No filters on this photo.❤️❤️”

“Buddy, Sue and Ray were excellent to work with. We had some major hull fiberglass damage and they jumped right on the repair and worked with our insurance company. Communication was consistent and fast. Refreshing to have good old fashion customer service.”

“One of our go too places in the keys and Florida. We love the laid back atmosphere and the overall vibe. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming especially Carlos the tiki bar bartender one of the best in the Keys. Overall a 5 out of 5 for us”

“We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience.

Our suite was comfortable overall, but the bathroom was extremely small—so small that when you opened the door, it nearly touched the toilet. It made the space feel cramped and awkward to use.

Housekeeping was also disappointing. On the first day, our room was cleaned, but no fresh towels were left behind. On the second day, housekeeping didn’t come at all, and we had to track down a cart ourselves to get clean towels. That level of inconsistency was frustrating and not what we expect from a hotel stay.

That said, outside of the bathroom size and housekeeping issues, our stay was pleasant. We especially enjoyed the amenities included in the resort fee—playing corn hole and foosball, and taking advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks. Those activities added a lot of fun and value to our trip.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of Calusa, the hotel’s nicer restaurant. The other restaurant was disappointing.

With some attention to housekeeping consistency and room layout improvements, this could easily be a much stronger experience overall.”

“this hotel was the last hotel we stayed in on a long road trip, it was very relaxed and i really liked the room it was spacious and clean my only comment was the bathroom looked very tierd, ceiling was peeling and falling down. the atmosphere was very relaxed and the grounds were lovely.
i did feel after 7-8pm it felt like their was no staff around.....which wasnt that reasurring.”

“Okay so I read the obvious Karen”s one star review. Absolutely ridiculous. You’re in a hotel…. Ummm I don’t think I’ve ever in a completely silent hotel. Some people will always find the negative in everything.

Let’s get down to business. This hotel is an absolute gem! It’s our favorite! It’s QUIET, CLEAN, and private. It’s breathtaking. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing time this is your place!! Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful. The rooms are so clean. We stayed on the backside of the hotel facing the water. It had a little living room, a refrigerator, dishwasher everything you would need for a stay. They provide WiFi and free washer and dryer on property and they provide the detergent and dryer sheets. That’s so awesome.

So if you’re a human that goes through life with a glass half empty…. Please do not jade this beautiful property for others. It’s not fair. We will always come back here!! It’s a little slice of paradise.

We are at a few great restaurants, Snooks it’s on the water they have great food and great music!! Joe is awesome!

There is also an amazing Indian restaurant excellent food and service. Called Zaika it’s right down the street. So good!!”

“My mother, myself and my 2 yr old daughter had a girl's vacation here for the weekend and it was so nice and relaxing we only left the property to get food and very much enjoyed the pool, especially my daughter! They have a beach area that you can watch for boats and sea life and sun bathe! And the staff was some of the nicest ladies I've ever met, they even helped me with my daughter and made room adjustments for us last minute because of my disability! Seriously recommend coconut cove to anyone wanting a stress free, relaxing stay!”

“Great location and views - the pool and outside sand/lounge area makes this a place we'd come back to. Great for groups or bigger families. On Friday night, we could hear the music playing at Skipper's from our balcony, which we enjoyed. Our room was a decent size, and a Marina view is a must. Marcus was fantastic with breakfast but there's absolutely no reason he should be working alone on a Saturday morning, with a 30 minute wait for a coffee or meal I pre-paid for. Marcus is a sweet GEM but the manager could've surely jumped on the register to help him at some point (she did clean tables once it ended at 10:15). If you're looking for a cheaper, not so fancy, but good atmosphere & vibes, I recommend this Marriott.”
