I came in needing a DIY fix for a bipap and oxygen tubing issue. My oxygen tube was getting kinked because of where it had to attach to my bipap hose. It was easy for the staff to literally inform me of amazing tiny Christmas light command hooks. My oxygen tubing fit perfectly and I have been sleeping like a baby. Thank you for your big hearts and kind service. Especially for a disabled lady.

Like most of the other Ace Hardware and True Value franchises that you may frequent, this particular location has far more than you may think based on the size of the building from the outside, particularly from the front. It’s bursting at the seams like other local hardware stores, but not only with traditional hardware. You will find somewhere in the range of one hundred (or more) different specialty sodas, a plethora of unusual hot and barbecue sauces, a giant selection of sports and Pokémon cards, a wide assortment of knives from quality brands like Gerber, a couple of display cases of top shelf sun glasses (it is Florida after all!), and even vinyl figures (like Pops) for sale! They also carry hardware and some obscure items that will make your day when they’re truly needed!
It’s usually easy to find a parking spot and they have easy to access disabled parking spaces conveniently close to the store entrance. The store is in a decent neighborhood, IMHO. The employees and managers are generally knowledgeable and very friendly. I stop in about once a month and many of the staff know me, and it’s a great feeling to be identified as a name instead of a data point! My 12-year-old son actually likes coming to this store with me because of all the cool merchandise that they carry. Interestingly enough, he’s also a bit hyperactive at times, and the staff have never given me grief about those times he gets excited and runs about the store wanting to show me, well, everything! That’s good business because I usually bring a project list and dropped almost $400 earlier today during my last visit.
Now, like many local hardware stores, some of the items are marked-up a bit more than you’ll find at their “big box” counterparts. I’m perfectly okay with this as these are small businesses that don’t get the same volume purchasing power. You’re also paying for convenience, the store is maybe two or three minutes from my home, is likely to have what I want, and prevents me from having to take two hours out of my day to go to a busy location just for a single item that is needed right now. I should also mention that their checkout is usually fast, they almost always have adequate lanes open, and they’re friendly there as well. They provide shopping carts and will allow you to take it to your car when making a large purchase. They will usually even offer to help you load your items into your car for you!
I think that it goes without saying that this store is outstanding IMHO and well deserving of “five stars!” I would also urge anyone to support their local small businesses whenever possible! Just go, especially if you’re local to Temple Terrace as they’re conveniently located! You’ll probably do what I did and make this place your regular hardware store!

Marshall was amazing!! He went above and beyond on my house project and he was so nice and knowledgeable.. I was stuck between 2 solutions and he gave me the pros and cons of both… cannot thank him enough. Angie assisted my pup Astro and I at the end. Everyone was beyond helpful and very nice..

I have visited the store a few times. Post hurricane Milton got another chainsaw and chain . It was the only place that provided great service and super instruction.
Today I needed to purchase something rather small, but noted my sugar was dropping. I only brought enough for my purchase. I don’t her name but the new, two week, employee covered out of her pocket a Snickers bar so I didn’t crash. She never met me but jumped into action to help! Please recognize her as an employee you want.
This is how I wish everyone acted in retail business. It is far from home but I will make the trip.
