Hours: Buddy Baseball is a non-competitive recreational league in Tampa Bay for children and young adults with special needs. It is an amazing and wonderful program where each player is paired with a buddy for assistance. The league fosters friendships, breaks down barriers, and teaches inclusion, patience, teamwork, and social interaction. Players gain confidence and experience the thrill of the game, team play, and camaraderie, all while having a lot of fun. Buddies learn compassion and develop friendships. With encouragement from coaches, hilarious announcers, and supportive fans, it is a great opportunity for kids of all ages to participate and volunteer. Everyone supports everyone.
