for Fancy Nail on 56th Street
I had a disappointing experience at Fancy Nail. The technician spoke constantly in her language during the appointment, which made me feel uncomfortable and excluded. Unfortunately, I also experienced physical discomfort — I was hurt twice and burned with the stones. When I asked for something to cool the burns, she dismissively told me to wait and continued speaking in her language without addressing my concerns.
I believe that respectful service is essential, especially when customers are paying for it. The lack of communication and the ill treatment I received felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Due to these issues, I chose not to allow her to complete the service.
I hope they will work on improving their customer service and communication in the future.

Came to get my nails done. My natural nails were long and painted. I wanted to go shorter and round. The guy didn’t understand. He cut my right hand SUPER short and then my left hand was left moderately long. They were lopsided and I tried to tell him and he just nodded and left them as they were. I decided to walk out and pay for what I had already done which was basically polish removed, cut nails, and somewhat filed them. Very disappointed.

Quick pedicure: Service was fast and friendly. There is a large selection of colors to choose from. They offer a variety of services. The salon wS clean. They even let hubby sleep in the massage chair. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing experience.

DO NOT COME HERE ! I came here 1 time and will never come back again! The rudest people ever , a small and dingy space. The women who work here are the absolute worst! I’ve never been treated this badly at any nail salon ever. Even if you’re in a pinch and need to find a place GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I have been getting my nails done for the better part of 20 years, and never in that time have my nails looked worse than when I went in today. The acrylic is uneven, the color wasn’t the one I wanted, the color is peeling off immediately. Every time I look down at my hands, I find something else they messed up on. Not to mention the lady who did my nails didn’t say a single word to me the entire time. I cried in my car after because I paid and left, not wanting to cause a scene. But I will never go in there again. I’m sorry to say, because I used to go when it was owned by other people all the time. But this was the last straw. Horrible, horrible job.
