  Ed and his team are outstanding! They are all about helping the client, not selling a product. Olin Mott ordered and picked up my desired tires and had all 4 installed by lunch. I've trusted Ed and his team with the tires and 3 of my vehicles, over 15 years. Highly recommend!

  I had the opportunity to use this store to have my brakes replaced. The team was extremely customer friendly and focused and did an amazing job!!! I would highly recommend this store!

  My tire had been leaking air and I needed to get it looked at, so I called the place I had been too before for tires and repairs, Tires Plus on Fowler, after being told I would need an appointment and the soonest they could get me in was 4 days away, (and I absolutely could not wait because it’s dangerous) I told Tires Plus that I would find another place. I then called Olin Mott Tires in Temple Terrace off of 56th street. They told me no appointment needed but depending on how busy they were there might be a wait but they would still check my tire. I said that was fine. I went in and explained the situation with my tire and the guy at the counter(I wish I would have got his name but I didn’t) said it may be about 20 or 30 mins but they would check my tire. I said that was fine and I was just really grateful they were willing to check it without an appointment. I waited about 30 minutes and the guy came out and said ok we are done and it had a small hole that was causing it to leak so I asked if they could repair it and he said “it’s already done” and I was like great, how much do I owe you and he said “nothing, it’s on the house” I couldn’t believe it, they took me right in without an appointment, checked my tire, fixed my tire, and didn’t even charge me for it!! Not only that but they all were very pleasant and kind!! I will definitely be back, they all were very kind and courteous, and didn’t make me wait days to check my tire. There’s not many businesses out there like that anymore and now I will definitely come back for all tire needs. I really appreciated their kindness and professionalism. Thank you guys so much!! I will be back and I’m telling everyone I know about your efficiency, kindness, and professionalism. You really made my day!!

  I was riding home on my way from work. When I noticed I had a flat tire. I admittedly pulled over into the parking lot of a tire shop, which was Firestone on the corner of 56 and Busch. I went into the Firestone and asked how much for a new or used tire? They said don't sell used tires, but a new one would cost $150. I said, "ok wow, I don't have that." I went back to my car and proceeded to try to put my spare on, but one of the lug nuts was stripped. I went back in and asked the guy at Firestone how much it would be to put on a spare and replace a stripped lug nut? He said, "It's a $110 a hour, and it's no tell how long it'll take to replace the lug nut." I said ok wow let me call my wife. As I was talking to my wife, I noticed the sign of Olin Mott Tire down the road. I said to my wife, "Let me go down the road and see how much it would cost to put on my spare and replace the lug nut." I went in and was greeted by Ed Lyons. I told him my problem and what the tire shop down the road had said. He couldn't believe it. Ed told me here at this shop we don't kick people while they are down. I even offered to pay for the replacement of the stripped lug nut and he wouldn't take it. I normally don't write reviews but this is the least I can do for the kindness Olin Mott staff and Ed showed me today. I'll never go to Firestone on 56th and Busch ever again but I'll look towards Olin Mott. I suggest that if you're in the area, you do the same.

  I was very impressed with the customer service at this shop, from beginning to end, as well, the quality, speed, and price of the service I got. Very highly recommended!

  Stay away, used to be my favorite shop under old management but went recently and they wanted to charge me almost $300 more than other shops for a small repair and that's after $100 just to tell me what's wrong

  We came from 1100 miles away, to get away and to see family and my car broke down just 30 mins outside of Tampa. We brought it to Olin Mott’s to see what was wrong, they tried their best to assess the issue, it turned out to be a transmission issue. as they stated before we even took the car there, they don’t do transmission work as they do not have the equipment, we knew we were kinda screwed. So although they had the car a while trying to assess the issue, they didn’t charge us for wasting their time, and recommended a shop that specializes in transmission work. the two men we seen while we were in there were very kind and understanding.
