This organization turns a lot of their profits over to abused people. Also you can find a great deal .

This is a domestic violence thrift shop. The old women in here are beyond rude. You should remember what cause you are representing. Let me remind you that our donations, time and funds drive your success. Kindly evaluate how you speak to and treat your customers.

I spotted a lamp here on an instagram post that I had to have. Have been searching for a lamp like this for a reasonable price for over a year! The manager was so kind to ship it from Florida to Texas. I paid $30 + shipping. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Thank you so much Our Sister’s Place Thrift Tequesta!

Unfortunately this place has gone totally down hill in the last year or so. They are way more focused on clothing & high priced furniture. Most things are overpriced, they no longer offer their loyalty stamp card & most of the people working there are very unpleasant. I used to frequent this place a LOT, but I think I'll be taking my donations & money elsewhere - unfortunate because they do serve a good cause.

I have donated to this charity several times for years and never had a problem. This time the volunteer picked through my donations and selected what she wanted to take. She refused paperback books, glass cups, soap dispenser and a working sound bar with all the wires and remote. I was shocked at her reasoning. Then I went in and found shelves of glasses and other kitchen ware along with a whole book shelf of books with paperbacks! Pictures attached. I am so disappointed with this experience and I see the other 1 star reviews with the same experiences. I drove across town just to donate to this charity bc I believed in what they do. I will not be doing that again!!!!

Furniture is WAY overpriced. Walked in for the first time and they had old, worn an beat up dressers from 250-500 dollars. If you're looking for affordable and decent furniture, look somewhere else.

Rude. Disrespectful. I brought in to donate a large collection of oil based artist paints. I opened the canister to display them but an embroidery ring on top covered everything. Before I could move it to the side the employee refused the entire offer claiming they don’t take embroidery equipment. She went on for some length saying they don’t have the room and don’t take that kind of donation. I asked to show her what was underneath. She made a very disrespectful expression and reluctantly agreed. However I should have know this was an individual who would never admit she made a mistake. When I held up the artist paints she again balked and quickly departed. It was humiliating. I will never return. I had motorcycle helmets and home printers that was still in the car to donate also but after that exchange I decided to help out a more decent and friendly charity. I realize this is only one employee but her behavior was completely inappropriate. Shop and donate elsewhere.

I used to like this thrift store. Now everything is overpriced. I was interested in 2 items that weren’t priced. The woman behind the desk acted annoyed & instead of giving me a price just said it would be very expensive. The second item was given a price that was over eBay pricing. This is not an antique shop. It’s supposed to raise money for a good cause but people that shop here can’t afford the overpriced items. You have lost another good customer.

Bizarre experience here; finally found some things that I wanted to purchase. One was an oval au gratin dish and it was priced at $5. When I went to pay for it the woman working the counter was in an ongoing discussion with a customer she had just checked out. When she finally turned her attention to me she took the dish and said, "Boy, that's heavy!" And then she looked at the price and told me, "I can't sell this to you, it's worth way more than that!" Then she complained that "the people in the back aren't pricing things correctly". After telling her that I was glad to pay the stated price for ALL the items I was purchasing she continued to refuse to sell me the piece - although she said she was "willing to sell me the other items". I just left without purchasing anything. If they're having staff issues they should solve them in the back room, not berate customers. Very unprofessional and unnecessary. I suppose the case could be made that there are MANY items sold that are "worth more". And those stores are "retail" and they purchase items for resale. they're not selling donated goods for profit.

I love this shop! They have housewares, clothing for everyone, vintage and even antiques. They have art, lots of furniture and really cool unique items. They sell name brands and even Lilly Pulitzer! I dropped off a large bag of new and gently used Lilly Pulitzer today! I urge you to go in, the staff is extremely helpful. Our Sister's Place helps women and children in domestic violence! Fantastic and much needed cause! Please consider donating to this shop!

Nice store but the woman behind the counter is beyond rude! The first time she treated me like she couldn't be bothered, I chalked it up to her having a bad day, but it is consistent. I thrift for my classroom often but don't think I'll be back to this store. It costs nothing to be kind.

Rude!!! Called to see if they had assistance or could guide me to help a mom who needs basic items and is victim of domestic abuse. She told me it’s a state problem. So unprofessional and disheartening for an organization that claims to help same!!!
