I’ve had AAA for almost 30 years. In all that time, I’ve never had an issue. However, last night I had a flat tire which required a tow. I called them at 7:26 PM. The intake lady was incredibly rude. They said, after I waited an hour for a call back to update me on pick up time, that no one was available and that they would call and update me. After another hour I called again. They again said no one was available. I let them know that I wasn’t in the best area (the grocery store near me is shady at night) and that I’d been waiting for two hours just for a time. Multiple phone calls, multiple rude people later I get a text from Elite stating that they would be there in an hour and to expect a call. After waiting a half hour I call Elite directly. They state that the driver is on their way and I’m their first stop. A half hour later I get an update texted with a new arrival time of 2:00 AM. I call elite, they state their guy doesn’t get in until 11 and I was the first stop but that there was a car blocking traffic. It’s now 10:50 PM. I again let them know that I’m stranded in the cold in a not great location where a large group of homeless people hang out and that they are frequently drugged up. They say “sorry it’s gonna be 2:00 AM.” I call AAA one lady was nice. Maggie. She was horrified I’d been there so long. Eventually Elite driver calls. He is outraged that I’ve been there for 5.5 hours waiting on a truck. 5 tows had passed us while we sat there. He was excellent. He stated AAA is getting worse and worse to their customers. He towed me home. This morning I got another tow to get the tire fixed. The driver asked what happened and I told him the whole story. He again stated that AAA is getting ridiculous and very hard to work with and for customers to deal with and stated he’d never heard of anyone having to wait that long in that bad of a situation before. He said if it had been his daughter he’d be furious. He towed me to the tire place and was excellent. I got to the tire place. They asked me what happened. I told them the whole story. The man was horrified and again stated that AAA have, in his words, “become a bunch of hackney clowns.” I called the complaint line today. I called them at about 9:00 AM. The gentleman on the line was kind, he did promise a call back soon with a resolution to the horrible rudeness and long wait. I explained how that was promised over and over last night and not delivered on. He assured me I’d get a call back. It’s now 1:07 PM and I have received no call back. I recommend that everyone look into alternative roadside assistance programs and don’t bother with AAA unless you feel like possibly putting your life in danger and wasting time and money. I’m sure I’ll get no resolution to this. It’s apparently not a secret in the repair world. Two of the three places that stated how bad AAA is getting were contracted by AAA. The third one, the garage, was not, and they were excellent as well.

Rude travel agent who didn't provide correct information regarding a canceled cruise due to a death. This travel agent has made a difficult situation worse. My mom had an insurance policy and we were told that if my moms friend still wanted to go on a cruise that she would have to pay the single room rate or we would have to sell. They haven't replied to my request for them to do the right thing and reimburse us what the insurance company would have paid. It seemed like the manager wanted to make right by this error but hasn't replied to my request. This is my first 1 star rating and it all because of the poor customer service.

We use Jonathan for our travel planning. He has lots of experience, knowledge, and digs in to find the trip that we want. We make appointments to see him and he always calls us or emails or texts us when he says he will. Great service!!!

I told the lady no less than FIVE (5) times that I wanted an AISLE seat, even though my wife wanted a window seat. She indicated she understood. I am too big and broad shouldered for a middle. When we arrived at the plane I found that I was booked tor a middle coming & going. Also, she did not get us the required entry clearance into Aruba or return to the U.S. We had to book this ourself at the counter at the last minute risking missing our flight.

NOT AAA FAULT !TAKE KLING TOWING OFF YOUR LIST.Use PRO-CAR out of Webster.Members for 30 years. Kling Towing left us hanging 2 days with a broken down car. Purchasing gift cards and earning reward points toward either gift cards or membership is a plus. Travel coordinators are very helpful. Good day trips
