No Returns Ordering Online In StoreI received two yeti 64oz ramblers for Christmas. One was purchased from this store, but it was ordered there online because they don't carry it in store. Obviously, I don't need two of the same size so I decided to exchange it for a smaller version so I could have a big one and a smaller one. I went to three different Ace locations in Orlando because I am not local to the original purchase location. All three told me that because they did not have the same product on the shelves, they could not accept it even though I had the receipt.So, I decided to call corporate and see if they could exchange it because every Ace is a franchise and that creates problems with inventories. Corporate told me to take it to the original location that it was ordered from. So, I called this store where it was originally purchased and let them know the situation to make sure it was worth the drive and that they would actually be able to return it. I even let them know that it was an online purchase made AT their store. They confirmed that they could over the phone so I sucked it up and brought the yeti an hour and a half away back to this store. They were very nice at the store and tried to exchange it, but were unable to due to their system. They told us to try with Yeti, but Yeti was extremely rude and unhelpful.Now, I have absolutely no way to return or exchange this yeti that I don't need after being told I could and there being a clear return/exchange policy on the receipt saying "return in store". My goal with this review is to bring attention to Ace's flawed return/exchange system for online orders and potentially make corporate aware that they are discouraging online sales when things like this happen. The only fault of this store was mistakenly telling me that they could return it when they couldn't and making me drive an hour and a half both ways for no reason. I would have added a star for their customer service if I didn't just spend three wasted hours on the road because of them.I hope this gets resolved or at the very least, something was learned so that others don't go through what I had to. Taking this to Twitter next to get corporate's attention; these things aren't cheap.

What's not to love about Ace? They have friendly and knowledgeable staff and are always willing to go the extra mile to help you out.

I rarely visit here but anytime I need something to repair my home I choose here. It's a clean friendly environment. Staff is very helpful. Knowledgeable on all of the merchandise and always able to answer my questions and get me the things I need for the task at hand. Prices are reasonsble

I was looking for a certain color paint so I ask ace paint department and I was told if I brought the empty paint can in or a piece of the chipped paint they could match me a gallon of paint. Later on in the week I brought the empty can in this was originally bought here at this ace and the same person in front of his boss earlier in the week that said he could match it told me when I came back in without his boss said we don't carry that paint anymore. I said it doesn't have to be that same base paint can you get me the color mixed and all he would say we don't carry that paint but wanted to send me way off to another ace in other towns, he said they have this paint. I was very disappointed and mad. I took the same can to home depot mind you the ace guy was a older man and the home depot tech was a very young man, this young man said sure i can mix this and gave a couple of options of which was the best bas paint to use, and he mixed me up the very same color using a different brand paint and it was to the exact color that I had already started my project with.I recommend anyone wanting paint don't buy from ace it's alot more expensive and more hassle to get what you need. I really don't believe this guy new what he was doing, he was trying to look good in front of the boss.

Gladly pay a couple more quarters for attentive service. I usually know what I need and where it's at. I always look for one of the older associates who have been around and know things. So happy we have 2 locations in Titusville.

I love my Ace Hardware store! Friendly helpful associates who offer their assistance but aren't pushy. They know exactly where to find products, and don't just say "look on aisle" whatever. They take you there to make sure you're finding what you want. It's a pleasure to shop here.
