I do want to start out by saying that this isn't the first Massage Envy we've been to. But this is the first couples massage we've done. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the ladies were nice and were very skilled at targeting areas of need for the both of us. The moment we walked in to the time we were on the tables to leaving. Everything was definitely as expected.

I will never go back to that place. The room smells bad. It wasn’t relaxing at all. We booked dip tissue massage and the massage therapist tells me that she doesn’t do deep tissue she only do “firm and relaxing” I never go to a massage and wanted to be done as soon as possible. It was awful experience to me. The receptionist are not friendly either. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE. Don’t waste your money in this place.THEY SUCKS! They should get better oils, better scents for the room because the room smells someone fried a fish. That place is not relaxing at all…

First massage ever and when requesting more pressure, was told it’s not the time to apply pressure but it never increased over the hour despite being a medium to deep pressure massage. Other issues at the front desk with packages etc., would not come back.

I now remember why I cancelled my membership 10+ years ago in the first place and now regret restarting it based on a recommendation/credit transfer from a friend. Booked a massage - was called and told the masseuse was no longer available so I rebooked for a facial since they didn’t have anyone else available for deep pressure. The “aesthetician”nicked my face 3 times, making my forehead and temple bleed. The facial was 30 minutes with no massage of neck, shoulders or any pressure points on face or head. The front desk did not mention that the facial was a 2x package at time of booking and the manager blamed it on a “new employee that booked me who must have not known”. For $150 you’re better off going to La Bella Spa or Face and Body Works and being treated like a valued customer. Both places go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and satisfied and they certainly do not make you bleed or blame corporate or new employees as scapegoats for mistakes.I also transferred a credit to a friend to get a massage for the same day/time, booking for medium to deep pressure, the friend asked for more pressure and the masseuse told them that was not the time she applied pressure and continued on with not applying pressure for the entirety of the massage. I had a similar experience when booking my first two massages with Massage Envy. Overall, it has been a very disappointing experience and I’d recommend anyone to steer clear and rather support small local businesses such as La Bella Spa and Face and Body Works.

Update 1/17/23: I filled out their contact form and corporate still wont help. I requested a call from the franchisee since corporate wants to pass the buck to them. No response. I tweeted the company, no help from corporate. I am now sharing to all FB groups my horrible experience. People should know not to waste their money.Don’t buy their membership. They don’t tell you that when you purchase a membership, you have to wait 30 days from then to get your “free” monthly massage. My husband purchased the yearly membership for me in December for my birthday and didn’t tell him that I couldn’t use it for 30 days. Went for my massage 1/12 and they tried to charge me full Price. Front desk was rude when I questioned them on this policy. Front desk Manager then told me that if I contacted corporate, that corporate wouldn’t do anything to help. She was right! Corporate told her to contact me and she offered to cancel my membership. Horrible business model, horrible customer service, so I don’t recommend!!

Don’t buy their membership. They don’t tell you that when you purchase a membership, you have to wait 30 days from then to get your “free” monthly massage. My husband purchased the yearly membership for me in December for my birthday and didn’t tell him that I couldn’t use it for 30 days. Went for my massage 1/12 and they tried to charge me full Price. Front desk was rude when I questioned them on this policy. Front desk Manager then told me that if I contacted corporate, that corporate wouldn’t do anything to help. She was right! Corporate told her to contact me and she offered to cancel my membership. Horrible business model, horrible customer service, so I don’t recommend!!
