Sand Point Park is a wonderful place to take family and friends. It offers breathtaking vistas and an inclusive playground. The park is very dog friendly with a manicured paved walkway along the ocean. Visitors enjoy wonderful fishing, and it is a perfect spot to see dolphins, several species of birds, and even the bioluminescent glow in the waters. There is a nice splash pad and picnic areas with benches and a roof for shade. A bar and grill on site features a live band. The park provides plenty of parking, including bridges to park under for cover, and is a great, often un-crowded spot to watch events like a rocket launch.
We came here to watch the Artemis II launch. It was a free park with lots of options for the kids to be entertained. The view of the launch pad is near the water and over the bridge.

Great for walks, spotting dolphins, and manatees. Playgrounds, shelters, and lots of grass for play.

Its a good place to take the family just to get outside.
