Two years in a row you have to plan on waiting over 20 minutes to get checked out. Self checkout is slow also. This place only seems to have one checkout lane that is not self checkout.

Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced was from Ray and Mike, yesterday (2/23/34), regarding furniture I bought. I shook their hands and made sure to tell them that sort of friendly, dedicated and efficient customer service is a lost art.

This store has really gone down hill in the last couple of months. Not sure if it's worth the membership when there are so many others out there. They need to work on their associates paying attention and helping customers. I made a complaint and was told "I don't know what to say". The front end is just run horribly!Update: Still extremely slow at customer service. I'm waiting to return something and have been waiting 15 minutes. She calls for help and no one comes to assist.

My cart was full and when I pulled up to where the register are…and I noticed a young lady heading to a register and signaling me to head on over. Eileen (cashier 456610) was very pleasant…very efficient…and I didn’t have to lift a finger! She unpacked and repacked my cold items…and I was out of there in no time!! I like to give credit where credit is due…and Eileen was delightful!!

BJ’S is a second rate organization. Why? They make you walk a great distance in the parking lot to get a shopping basket. Sam’s and Costco have them at the door waiting for you. They only have one manned check out line. They have a few customer self service checkout machines but they are usually about 50% not working.Their automated checkout by mobile phone never works and no employee knows how to make it work.Maybe “Second Rate” is being to kind.

Hey, BJ's! There's this concept called customer service. Try having someone answer a damn phone. It's not like I'm asking anyone to do advanced calculus. Here's an update. Your app sucks. That's right. We've been members for over 10 years. Found out that apparently one of the geniuses at corporate thought it would be a good idea to eliminate the coupon books and go digital. That would be ok if your app actually functioned right.Neither my girlfriend nor I can log into your app. And we're both pretty tech savvy. So my suggestion is fix the app.

Bj's added a verification code process to get into my paid Bj's account. I enter the code and it says I entered the wrong code. They added this on black Friday. Now I can't check on deals. Smart marketing technique.

WARNING: I was looking for membership closer to my work specifically to save on gas. I went in to inquire about any specials they might have to compete with the discount club 5 miles further away. After the customer service associate explained that the only discount available required me to get their MasterCard. I said: "No ty. I don't want a MasterCard and I can pay $20 down the road (as opposed to their $55 membership fee)." Apparently this was triggering because he responded by slamming around, telling me: "Fine. Go down the road." I said that was rude and he said "What? You want to go down the road...GO!" I turned to leave and he followed me shouting "People like you only want to pay $20 then wonder why there are no cashiers! Go then, go down the road!" I tried to get away from him, I told him he was out of line... It was hands down the worst experience I've had on either side of the customer service desk. Another associate tried to get the manager but at that point another customer and an outside vendor had gotten involved and we could all hear the customer service associate screeching on the radio "What?! I told her go ahead...go down the road!!". I just wanted to get out of there!

Went here because t-mobile had a 20$ a year membership. Two weeks later, I got two coupons for 10$ , $ 50$. So far, so good, but I still have not been. Well, today I have now been and well.... most prices are higher than costco and Sam's. The selection is goodish, but the carts are old, the layout is pure havoc, and there is only one cashier with long lines. Overall, I will not be back unless I am desperate. This place is closer to my house, but I would rather drive to Costco 6 times further away.

BJ’s has definitely went downhill. Lately I have noticed they are selling expired food or almost expired. I work too hard for my money. Time to join Sam’s or Costco. And at least the gave a food court so can grab an inexpensive lunch.

This location has a gas station; at peak hours it's usually at least a five minute wait. Even at it's busiest hours, you can still easily find a parking spot. The selection is ok, but well stocked. Checkout lines are pretty average- wait a few minutes, seems kinda slow. Getting on/off 70 is a heavy trafficked area with a frequent number of accidents.

For the people writing bad reviews there right I worked there I loved the customers most of them but management sucked and they got upset if you needed help the place was always dirty I tried to clean up a lot but I couldn’t do it alone and people are saying the workers are rude most of them were not all of them but the bad reviews are honestly accurate I wish they had better management and didn’t hire such jerks they have no standards and the place needs to be remodeled and the health department needs to check BJs cuz it’s dirty and I always had to tell customers not to buy the bakery stuff because there were bugs in it and the customers always thanked me for catching them with a good eye I feel bad for anyone who shops here sams club is alot better and cleaner. I wish they actually had people who cared that worked there and better managers.

It’s too bad you can’t leave zero stars. The employees who work here are incredibly rude. When I signed up for a membership the woman at customer service was so rude that I felt it had to be a one time thing. The printer wasn’t working so she couldn’t make me a card, and then acted like I was an idiot for not wanting to put the app on my phone instead. Her huffing and puffing and eye rolling were unbelievable. I came back to shop the next time, there were no carts anywhere near the store. After walking around for several minutes trying to find a cart, I asked a manager who told me that the carts are outside. I went and looked again, and could not find one. I asked the greeter where I can find a cart, and he said I would have to go and get one from the parking lot. I said “I have to go find my own cart in the parking lot?“ And he said “ This isn’t my problem, I just work here.” You don’t save enough money to be treated like garbage. I will happily take my business elsewhere.
