I see so many negative reviews about this store, and I wanted to share two very positive recent experiences with Staples printing. On one occasion a couple of months ago, I consulted with the sales person, who was very helpful and courteous, and actually reprinted for me when my layout was incorrect. On a more recent one, again the sales person (the same one) helped me avoid a mis-print, and the quality of the print was excellent. When I picked up my print job, a couple of other sales associates helped me, and they could not have been nicer or more patient. The store may be tired, but the associates and the quality of their work shines through.

Just got done doing the dreaded school shopping for a teenager. I was pleasantly surprised by Rick the manager he was super helpful in helping me find everything and even showed me how to get a rebate online for almost half of what I spent. Rick deserves a 5 star rating because customer service with a smile is everything.

Last week I bought a 399.00 printer. Could not find anyone to help. I finally asked a girl that came out of the office to help me load it in the cart and she said she'd be right there. 15 minutes later she is at the checkout with no help in sight. So with my bad back I had to lift it myself.Today I go in to buy an airtag and I asked the cashier for help. He called someone. About 20 minutes later a man walks out and starts to go to help checkout. I told him I was waiting. He went back into the office and got me the airtag. They have no help and I wasn't the only one needing help.I won't be back.

I've been at Staples for HOURS today. 1. The people who work here are nice but their equipment and skills are lacking. 2. They have been without a business card cutter for weeks now so they are cutting cards with a laser which is taking forever especially considering they have had to remake my cards numerous times today because the first time the font didn't show the rest of the times the cards were misaligned. Finally I agreed just to have the front made not the back of the card. All of this took almost SIX hours of my day and driving back and forth. I have to have business cards for an event tomorrow - they look super cruddy. I could have purchased ink and cards and done it myself better in hind site or had another store create them. I'm exhausted and still have lots of things to do before my flight tomorrow. This was very inconvenient. Also way under staffed!! Give employees what they need so they can be the best for your customers.

Disarray, under staffed, lack of inventory. Will Staples be the next major chain to die in its brick and mortar model?

We showed up January 22, 2023. The place didn't seem to be fully stocked. Not sure if it was just printers or everything.

Came in last night to buy a chair. The young man at the register rolls eyes and sighs loudly when we ask for help. He calls another young man that says it's not in stock and they won't sell the floor model. He offers no other options but to order online. Both employees seem miserable. Is Staples dying?

I know why people shop online… on a Saturday afternoon I want to purchase a new printer but there is no box on the floor for that printer; there is one employee in the whole store and one cashier. To find that one employee I had to walk across the store only to finally end up asking the cashier the question who in turn called the one employee, who answered my question and disappeared. I had another question about a ream of paper which they seemed to be out of on the floor. Again - same procedure - but he is now helping someone special order furniture. So no thanks, it’s been over half an hour now; I’m going home to order on Amazon and get it tomorrow. I understand employees are hard to get but so are customers! Ugh.

Absolutely disgusting. The entire store smells like a gym locker. The mens restroom was dingy, dark, smells, dirty. It just shows the manger has zero pride for themselves and their store. The staff just standing around, when they should be cleaning. I also don't understand why half of the lights in the store and bathroom are off. What's going on here?

I went to get a drawing printed onto cardstock today and was unable to send the file from my iPad a few times. There were several people in line behind me and the print associate Rick was extremely patient with me. He helped the other people while I kept trying, and answered my questions at the same time, all while being kind and courteous. I accidentally sent the wrong type of file so the size wasn't correct. He immediately printed another one for me once I got the correct file type. He had a great attitude the whole time and was able to help everyone else at the same time. Great employee and person. Thank you Rick!

Mel at the copying/business center one of the most outstanding customer service representatives I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He copied the picture’s for my fiancé’s surprise wedding album BEAUTIFULLY (some copies turned out even better than the originals), and he helped me do it affordably, because I had a LOT of pictures. Fantastic service with a smile. What a great guy! Thanks, Mel!

I went to print out 2 sets of construction blueprints for my projects. I spent more than 1hr 15 min at the store waiting for 40 pages to print (advertised print speed 40 sec per page). At the end to add insult to injury I was hit with $206+ bill. Almost $50 were "emergency printing fees" that no one told me about. I was basically taken advantage without anyone quoting me or telling me what the final bill will be. Why the "5 stars" review? I cannot thank you enough Staples for screwing me over once, I went home and immediately ordered a plotter printer, which cost me $600+Tax. Best decision ever, now I can print comfortably at home, as many or as few pages as I want, without having to wait over 20 min for a store employee to bless me with their attention and not make me feel bad for interrupting a very important do nothing routine. Considering that I print a lot of blueprints, I am very grateful for Staples on University Pkwy to guide me in the right direction and not waste my money and more importantly my precious time with them anymore. Great job Staples and Thank you!
