Came to this bank for account assistance and was helped by Blake. I cannot speak highly enough of his kindness and professionalism. There is such a rarity to have such a real person at an establishment. SouthState has quite an asset with him in their ranks.

If you’re like me, you often forget to login and your app banking app locks you out you’ll understand.
Then I have to go to the bank, which always is pleasant to visit the bank because of all the wonderful people that works there.
If you’re looking for a friendly customer service, you might wanna go to Southstate Bank ask for Amy or Holly or Ali or Susie or Evelyn or Cassandra or Sean McCabe the manager of the bank they are all friendly knowledgeable and helpful .
And the facility smells good and super clean.
There is so many benefit with banking with South State Bank. If you wanna know more go to the branch and speak to this wonderful people tell them Sayde sent you..

This bank has the worst customer service ever. I have multiple businesses with south state bank. I would not recommend this branch to anyone. Today I had no other option but to come here because the bank I normally go to I already passed by it and forgot to do a deposit. Today, The assistant manager Amy Bauman kicked me out of the branch because my cash wasn’t organized the way she wanted them. While she was kicking me out. She crossed her hands behind the counter showing her power at the bank. Which is really sad. I had coins that was already rolled and that fell from the counter to the floor. Not one person helped or asked to help me. Joe I think the general manger standed behind me and just watched all this happen and just walked me outside. If this bank had better Managers this bank would be more busier than it currently is. I have gone to different branches. I’ve always felt appreciated everywhere else. But here! I try not to go to this branch. Only if I have no other option. But today is the last time that I will be going here. They treat people like they don’t want people to come there. The teller felt bad the way she treated me and said sorry. I told her not to apologize you did nothing wrong. The person in charge of this branch should be notified. If the person in charge is Joe. Best of luck to this branch.

I went here yesterday to open a new account. The process was super easy and Ashleyn was very efficient. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They print their own debit cards so you will never have to wait in the mail for yours, which I think is a bonus.

Employee always seem bothered by their customers, hours always always wrong communication is not there and always cutoff their customers before their could finish what their trying to say.

This location has zero basic customer service skills, communication is nonexistent, overall this branch needs to replace their employees who doesn't want to be there and hire new ones who do.

Hours have not updatedLobby closes at 2pm with no signage to indicate the change on either Google or the store front.A 120 minute call into customer service to tell me the only thing they can help with is send me to a branch for more info. And the branch to immediately scoff that customer service/customer care could not assist over the phone.This place has a lot of great mortgage officers, unfortunately their teller and customer facing staff is either under trained or under paid to care for the customer.

Hours posted say drive thru 8am-5pm Monday through Thursday. That is incorrect. Lobby hours say 9am to 4pm, that is incorrect. I do not know the hours, I got to the location at 3:40pm & it was fully closed & shut down.
