We LOVE Discovery Point. We actually pulled and took my son to a new daycare- closer to our house. We took him back to discovery 2 days after the new school. He adores his teachers and staff, as do we! I can't reccomend this center enough. You will not be disappointed! Prices are great too ;)

We recently had the pleasure of providing sealcoating and line striping at this child care center, and the transformation is stunning! It’s clear how much they care about the safety of the children and families they serve, and every detail was thoughtfully planned. Loretta was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire coordination process. Working with them was a true pleasure!

We’ve been at discovery point for 3 years now and we couldn’t be happier. Our daughters thrive here with the curriculum and staff. They both have grown bonds with all of their teachers. I love all the activities they have for the kids and families to be involved. Loretta, Meeka, and Addy do an amazing job. Very few people I can trust with my kids. I highly recommend discovery point for child care!

I DO NOT recommend this childcare. They will call you to pick up your child for EVERYTHING! They have no conflict resolution skills at all. If you work you may want to think twice about enrolling here. This childcare does better with older children not babies-3yrs old their staff doesn’t know how to handle all behaviors of little ones. I was told by the owner(Loretta) that my child(2yearsold) teacher is “JUST TIRED” she’s burnt out, she just needs a break! She knew that when she decided to care for 2year olds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHILDCARE. My child was absent more than my child attended for bullshit reasons and she makes sure she takes the money first quarter absent or not! Enough is enough! Send your child somewhere where they will love them like you do not somewhere where the teachers get overwhelmed and “JUST TIRED” of your baby!

My daughter just finished up VPK here and I must say this place is an absolute wonder. VPK is treated like real school. My daughter started off the school year at the 90th percentile in reading and is now at the 99th. We work and do wraparound care and the extended hours until 6:30p are also great for pickup.
The school does SO many enrichment activities for the kids. So many spirit weeks, school dances, picture days, and just general activities. They really go all out for the special events and make it very worth it for the children.
Special shout out to Ms. Maria, Ms. Nadja, Ms. Loretta & Meeka at the front desk, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Addy, and Ms. Emmalyn. As long as we are in the area my daughter will continue here for summer and aftercare as well!

Well first off some of the employees are very welcoming , understanding , can care for the children , but those ladies who sit in the front only care about the money . They are not willing to work with your child . If your child shows any expressive behavior you have to pick them up . If they get into it with another child you have to pick them up . They do not know conflict/resolution at all . I absolutely will not recommend this place to anybody ! Just as fast as I enrolled my child is as fast as I took him out .

I wasn't sure about this place for my daughter's vpk class but they surprised me. She loves going to school. They always send you pics of the day threw their app. Which really helped to see what they did from day to day. I would use this daycare again if I ever needed one. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my daughter. I couldn't of picked a better place for her to attend vpk

My daughter has attended VPK here since the fall and she has come such a long way academically. She is officially ready for kindergarten in the fall thanks to the amazing staff and teachers at Discovery Point.

I've been bringing my 5 year old here since she was only 6 weeks old. She loves the staff here! They're helped me alot too as she's grown. Highly recommend!!

Discovery Point is amazing! My daughter has been attending since October and they have done nothing but cared for her since she started. She has learned so much from being there. I love hearing the songs she sings from school everyday.❤️ 10/10 would recommend!

If you are looking for a daycare in the Valrico area, don’t bother looking anywhere else! We have been taking our kids here for 3 years and absolutely love it! My son is now in kindergarten and is above grade level thanks to their staff going above and beyond.. prepping him for school and introducing structure/curriculum as early as 1-2 years old! They even have a bus to bring them to elementary school and pick them up for aftercare if needed! They have taken and still take great care of our kids which to us, is priceless!

My son has been going here for 3 years and would have gone way sooner if we knew what a gem this place was! I worked for DCF and daycares and know first hand how difficult it is to find one that loves your child like you do. Discovery Point does just that. They are extremely responsive and address any concerns professionally and timely. We have seen them handle the COVID crisis with the utmost safety while remaining open the entire time and provided alternative learning solutions which was a Godsend to all parents. I could not place a higher recommendation anywhere. This is the best investment you could make for your child in their early years.

I love this daycare and will miss them so much! They were super flexible with my family during covid. My 2 year old was with them since he was 6 weeks. After the stay at home order, I also sent my 8 year old that was previously at another after school program. I felt really confident in the cleaning and safety precautions Discovery Point had put in place. They are clean and caring! Special shout out to Ms Loretta and Ms Addy who always had to deal with crazy me!
