Worst bank ever! I have only gone to this location twice and both times the bankers are rude and do not want to do their job, and I go right as they've just opened. The first time, the bankers sent me out to the atm machine outside the building to figure out my atm card issue and to deposit money, when they had no other customers to help. The second time, they were upset because I went through the teller to deposit money, I was not going to sit there and deposit 25 bills at a time.

I needed to break a bill and I understand that’s there’s policy in place. Apparently they can’t break your bills if you’re not a member. With the service I got over the atm drive thru from the old lady, I will not even consider to be a member. Her attitude was very rude.

My husband went in to make a deposit. My husband is African American and the 2 ladies there were treating him like he was going to commit a crime. He had the money out while waiting and one lady stood next to him asking him what is his business. Then when he walked up the lady behind the counter snatched his money and was asking him where he lived and why was he at this branch. This new Bloomingdale branch needs to get their act together. All the other branches give us no problems.

It is no shock to me that EVERY SINGLE REVIEW for this bank in the last year is a single star, the absolute worst rating possible. I am more than willing to unite with these reviewers and add my single star rating as this branch is the worst managed bank I have ever come across in my over 45 years of banking. The employees at this branch have no idea what customer service is and they apparently don't have much training in banking operations either. The worst of the offenders is their deplorable manager. She is the most blatantly pretentious person I have ever come across. There is not one thing sincere about her and just interacting with her is cringeworthy. It obviously is not just my opinion either as ALL of their ratings in the last year (ALL one star ratings) coincide with her tenure at this branch (roughly a year). That's right folks, under her management, there is NOT A SINGLE RATING ABOVE ONE STAR. Read those other ratings from the last year and you will see that it would be a BIG MISTAKE to do business with these folks. No one deserves to be treated the way that we have all been treated by these employees at this branch. There are far too many other banks out there who have taken the time to train their employees properly and who give customers the respect and service that they deserve. This branch will most likely be closed in short time as they could never sustain with the attitude and management they presently serve with.

As a paying customer, my experience today at the branch has me questioning if my family and I will continue to bank with Fifth Third. My daughter and I needed two witnesses for signing of a "Living Will/Health Care Surrogate form", not necessarily a notary, but we asked for the notary since we figured they would be familiar with such a seemingly simple request. The notary was with another client, so we waited about ten minutes -- no problem. When the notary, Marisol, came up to us asking what brought us in, I showed her the documents and explained that we needed two witness signatures. Her responses felt rude when she questioned why we were there and then said she needed to see if anyone else could help since we needed two signatures. We could see two other employees behind the counter, which is where Marisol went, and one client at the counter. Seemed to be a pretty slow morning. When she came out from behind the counter though, she said nothing to us and went back to her desk, but with that same client that was at the desk -- who had came into the bank way after we had already been waiting for Marisol. We are also clients of the Grow Financial bank off Bloomingdale, and their customer service is 1000% times better, so we left and went there instead. If this is the level of customer service that can be expected to paying clients of Fifth Third, then I doubt we will continue our family business here.If you value your time and wish to be shown respect, don't waste your time here like we did today.

It’s near impossible to get through to a representative to file a claim, finally got through to someone after a ridiculous hold and then they either hung up or the call disconnected but either way had to start from scratch. The branch itself can’t help with fraudulent charges, they can just cancel and order you a new card, so in the meantime the bank can continue to charge you more and more fees for an overdrawn account, which was due to money being stolen and there is nothing you can do but keep calling and calling and calling. Worst experience with a bank, terrible customer service. Take your business somewhere else.

Simply wanted to cash out a small check that was a payroll check with two government valid ID,’s Why should I pay five dollars to get my own money? I asked if they could cash it as a courtesy and they told me that their system was unable to do that unless I pay a fee or open an account… meaning that the bank manager has no power to override a fee? That simply goes against personalized service. Why would I open an account with such a lack of personalized service? We are talking about a payroll check drawn off of their own bank account.

Bad counter service, I felt that I was bothering her and approached the counter for a withdrawal. Have an issue with Zelle too, but no help from the manager either. They don't want to take responsibility saying Zelle is responsible, where Zelle stated the same thing.
