I have been going to the firestone store off of brandon blvd and I thought I would give this store a chance since it's 10 mins from my house. I feel very screwed over. I told the guy on the phone that I would like to have possibly spending 200$ on two front tires. He gave me only 2 options and I ended up spending double what I wanted to spend. He only quoted me 2 brands of tires, stating one didn't have a warranty and the slightly more expensive one had a warranty. One of them was 270$ and some change and the other was 323$ before tax. I attached a picture of the tires that are cheaper AND have a warranty and that were well in my price range, and these weren't offered to me whatsoever, mind you this is on their app and their website. I feel very much taken advantage of and like you got a pretty penny out of me because I'm not a man. I did not get what I asked for and im very unsatisfied with how much I paid when I explained that the most I can do is a little over 300$. I was charged 448$ today because nobody took the time and consideration to meet my request of what kind of tires I requested. Really a shame. I was hoping this wouldn't happen to me again, but of course I was proven wrong and you cant get anything in this world that you request unless you're a man.

They always treat me well and give good suggestions. They’re not there just to take your money. Every time I go in problems get resolved and that’s all I care about.

Employees are helpful and informative - Adam was a great help when I returned to this location after identifying a lugnut that was over torqued and stripped from a previous tire replacement. Without hesitation Adam assisted and helped to get the lugnut off and replaced. They have guaranteed return business from my family!

I had an awesome experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Brandon, Florida, when I needed a tire change! From the moment I rolled in, the staff was super welcoming and ready to help, making the whole process feel like a breeze. They answered all my questions with a smile and even cracked a few jokes to keep things light. The team quickly assessed my tires and helped me choose the perfect set to keep my ride smooth and safe. Before I knew it, I was back on the road, feeling like I could take on anything! The comfy waiting area, complete with coffee, made the experience even better. If you need a tire change (or any car service), don’t hesitate to check out Firestone—they make car maintenance fun and stress-free! 🚗💨

This Firestone location provided outstanding service to me when I was in an urgent situation of being out of town and needing to replace one tire that they unbelievably had in stock. Kudos to Stephen and Anthony. Highly recommend!!

I switched from PEP BOYS to Firestone because I caught them not changing the oil and rotating the tires on my work van. Since my switch, this location has seviced my work van 3+ times, changed the oil and balanced my front end (lifetime) and has changed the oil, replaced all 4 tires on our son's Lexus and just recently was suppose to perform a "Tune-Up" on it. I was quoted $250 for a "Tune-Up' by the larger gentleman with a thicker beard from the other 2 guys. My wife got a call after we dropped of the car to be serviced and told "we only had to replace the spark plugs", "everything else was good". When our son and I went to pick up the car, I was given a total of $307 and some change (TO CHANGE 4 SPARK PLUGS), I asked why the cost was so high and the response was "the prices went up". They advised that the spark plugs were $32 each. I found all 4 for $20 online. I also looked at the time and tools required to change the spark plugs...AVERAGE time was 20-35 MIN.
NOW onto my work van that I picked up Monday (7/22/24).
I dropped my work van off on Friday (7/19/24) for an oil change, tire rotation, headlight replacment, windshield wiper replacement and I asked them to check the tires as the low tire pressure light came on as I was pulling into the parking lot. I recieved a call on Sunday around 3pm saying it was ready to be picked up. I went in on Monday morning taking our son's car to drop off. When I got in my van, the low air pressure light was on, so I ran back into the store to ask about the tires. The manager told me that they replaced a tire but were understaffed so they didn't reset the TPMS. I asked then if they replaced my windshield wipers as I had then gotten the email with the service documents. The manager advised that whatever was on the invoice was what they did. Well, they didn't replace the wipers (as requested) and I noticed after leaving that the oil change sticker was not replaced. These guys need to hire more people or change leadership, because this isn't working for me. Moving on to another shop!!

I set up an appointment for 2pm on a Saturday. I dropped off my vehicle. The price I was quoted at the shop was higher than the price listed on the website. Then, I had to call the shop at 5:45 because I had not heard anything back. My car had yet to be started. I was told it was next in line, and I would receive a call by 8. I never received a call. When I went to the store the next day, they said the phones were down which is why I didn't get a call. The mechanic could have called from another phone because the computer system was still working. My information was still available. Also, they tried to charge me a late pick up fee when I arrived to get my car on Sunday, but they decided that as a way of compensating me for my trouble, they would waive the fee. I am extremely dissatisfied and have no plans to use Firestone again or recommend them to anyone I know.

I can't thank these guys enough for on-the-spot service. I got a flat tire on the way into Brandon. I live in Plant City.(13 miles) I would have been stranded if these guys had not stepped up like they did! Despite the lack of help that they had that morning. My flat had a big nail on the side. They not only got me in lightening fast (despite having 8 cars IN the bays already!) They sold me TWO new tires for a deal that I could EASILY afford vs buying ONE tire. I was in and out of there in less than 40 minutes. I can't thank them enough!! Thank you thank you!!! I am forever grateful. They turned a difficult situation into a positive outcome. Get them some more reliable help! They deserve it!

Steve Bright is the reason why I had an exceptional experience during my visit. I inadvertently made an appointment at a different location and Steve went above and beyond to get my car serviced at this location. He treated me like a friend, as if we had already known each other. Very accommodating, the service didn not last long, and I will be coming here from now on.

Absolutely terrible service. I’ve been to other firestones before, but this was my first time coming to the Valrico Firestone. I arrived at 2:50pm for my 3pm appointment for the $189.99 life time alignment. As I walked to the front door, I notice a few empty bay which made me think I was going to get through easily, but that was not the case. When I dropped off my keys the guy asked me if I was going to wait there and I replied yes. After waiting a few minutes, I decided to get something to eat. I was busy all day and hadn’t eaten in over 6 hours. I went to the nearby subway since it was a short walk.
I got back at 3:40pm to see my car in the same spot I parked it. I was hoping that maybe my car was already done. My alignments in the past did not take long. When I asked a firestone rep about the status of my car, he seems surprised after looking for my paperwork. I knew it was going downhill fast. He walked to the guy who checked me in and the guy said the car is not ready yet. I asked are you running behind? He advised that they were just finishing up a car. A car I did not see there when I got there, so it came in after I left, and was getting worked on before my car. I asked how long is it going to be. He said 5-10 minutes and I was next in line. Then I asked how long will the alignment take and he responded it depends on how bad it’s out of alignment. I waited another 15 minutes before I checked to see that my car was still parked in the same spot. I requested my keys and left. I walked out of the door at 4pm. That is 1 hour after my appointment time and they had not even pulled my car up. I’m never coming back here again.
