I am still waiting for a quote It has been 3 weeks!When i did receive the est it was4 times higher than 2 other places and i did not need a new engine. Condolences for your family death. I am truly sorry.A difficult loss. Hope the best for you.

Danny is fantastic! Easily the best, most honest mechanic I have met. Dealing with issues on a 18-year old BMW. Brought it in with a few steering/suspension issues. Pricing was more than fair and he told me exactly what was needed and what was “recommended “ down the road. I actually asked him to do a few extra items and he priced it more than fair. Actually told me some things didn’t need to be done and not to spend the extra money. Who does that? DANNY DOES!Services: Engine repair

My worst experience my life I hope people will see this just be careful with this guy especially with money he will try to get your business and trust then he will play on you charging so much money until you have no choice and just bring your car to another shop who will could do a better job and make sure you get receipts because he wouldn't give you one until you ask for it.

08 VW GTI with mods and the first time in three years that my son & I needed professional help with a repair or mod. Danny was empathtic to our situation, repaired our DIY mistake, and humbly explained our error. The brake performance is superior to any of our newer or older vehicles and the service exceeded expectations. Danny is an awesome guy and will treat your car as if it’s his own! He did my timing chain replacement as well as a headlight harness and the service was awesome and the car was done earlier then I expected. If you want honest prices and great work, go to Danny at Hitson!

I went to Danny‘s shop to do an all around check up and a specialty suspension work. Gavin the technician was very professional invited me to have a seat have a cold drink while I was waiting the work being done on my vehicle. Then he went and performed all the checks that I needed followed by the special suspension work needed to be done. He informed me periodically of The status on the work. After he was done he made sure that everything was clean went for a protest with my vehicle to be sure that the work was performed up to the shops highest standards. When I received my vehicle back it was perfect as always. I highly recommend Hitson the diagnostic guy, And Gavin the technician. Thank you very much I will be back for more work.Services: Electrical

Ok, I read the reviews and decided I would go to Danny; he called me and gave me directions cuz he is not facing 60. He specializes in Ford with a particular interest in Mustangs. My car has not run in a year cuz I had no A/C and the car was stalling unless I drove like a granny. Took my car to Danny told him need a compressor and last mechanic gave me an estimate which was significantly lower than my last estimate from a Yelp mechanic. OK so I rolled with Danny; so I got my compressor issue resolved but my car stalled when he did the test drive; problem not resolved. Danny called me after that and diagnosed the issue and he was spot on secondary repair was $230, l had to wait an additional day but car is purring. I recommend this mechanic; he is good and reasonably priced.

Still hands down the best repair shop in Tampa. Owner operated and gets the job done right the first time. Honest and open about the repairs needed to your car. Pricing is great. Don't waste your money or time at a dealership. Support your local business. Doesn't matter if it is your daily driver, grocery getter or flat out bad boy race car. If it's got an engine he can repair it. Find out for yourself and go on over and check em out or give em a call no job is too big or too small.
