“I have had the pleasure of having both of my school aged kids attend Learn and Grow for their After School Program since my kiddos went to Nelson Elementary School. We have attended for 4 years. We have did their days off of school there, and summers as well. The mother daughter team who run this center are absolutely exceptional! In our time here, my boys were treated with so much kindness, that this center became family. This is where you want your kiddos. Moving back to an area that has changed so much, you can never know who to fully trust with your kids anymore. I was beyond happy with the experience this team shares and how much attention they give to my children. They provide a safe environment for all who enter and a safe place where my kiddos can continue to thrive.”

My son has been attending since he was just 6 months old, and he is now 4 years old, which really speaks to the trust and comfort we feel here. The environment is always playful, welcoming, and full of fun learning opportunities that truly help the kids grow.

His favorite teachers, Ms. Ireland and Ms. Heidi, have been incredibly kind, patient, and nurturing, and they’ve made such a positive impact on his early years. He’s now looking forward to starting VPK with DeeDee.

The leadership staff is always helpful, caring, and wonderful to work with. Communication is great, and you can genuinely tell they care about every child and family. “We have been with The Peacock Plume since October, and we absolutely love it! My daughter is in the infant room, and the care and love she receives every single day has been incredible. As a mom of four and a teacher myself, I was very hesitant about daycare after having a negative experience with traditional childcare in the past.

I decided to take a chance after visiting some in home ones that I just did not have a good feeling about. I schedule a tour, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, every employee was so warm and welcoming. What was supposed to be a quick 20-minute tour turned into over an hour of conversation because everyone made me feel so comfortable. It truly feels like one big family.

My daughter loves it there so much, and I feel completely at ease dropping her off each morning because she always goes in with a huge smile and is excited to see her teachers. That peace of mind means everything to me.

We love The Peacock Plume so much that we are even adjusting our move to make sure we can continue bringing her there every day. I genuinely feel like her teachers love and care for her almost as much as I do, and that is priceless.

I was also a little confused by another comment I read saying the employees are hostile toward each other because that has been the complete opposite of my experience. I have never once seen teachers upset with one another or any type of animosity. All I have ever witnessed is teamwork, support, and people helping each other. They truly are one big happy family. As a teacher myself, I can honestly say I have seen hostile work environments before, and this is absolutely not one of them.”

“We LOVE Discovery Point. We actually pulled and took my son to a new daycare- closer to our house. We took him back to discovery 2 days after the new school. He adores his teachers and staff, as do we! I can't reccomend this center enough. You will not be disappointed! Prices are great too ;)”

“All the teachers are very attentive and caring to my daughter. I actually trust her safety at daycare more than most of the capable adults I know because of how thorough the report is and the photo updates I receive through the day. I also love that I can see in her development that she truly learn at daycare. She comes home and shows me the new dances she's learned to her toddler music and it's amazing!!”
