Have tried for two days to pick up my BP meds. Some of these previous comments and experiences are just like mine. However, I read some of CVS comments too and also similar problems. They must all have a corporate protocol to give as little of customer service as allowable while keeping their profits for themselves. Long lines, understaffed, long hold times on the phone, etc. After finally getting my prescription this morning, I got home to find it was wrong. After they didn't answer the phone at the local store, I called corporate and filed a complaint. We'll see how far that gets. I'm guessing not far, unfortunately.

They lied and said my script went to the one up the road, i go to the one up the road and they say no, it WAS sent to that location. I cant imagine why they would need to lie. Seems like this walgreens is notorious for lying because the pharmacy up the road laughed when i said they seem to always lie. Cant even get one simple script. Wow.

This is a horrible location. They take forever to fill prescriptions. When they donât have medications they donât say anything and just donât give the medication to you. Always get put on hold constantly for long periods of time. Employees are not very friendly.

I want to give a shout out to the hardworking and compassionate pharmacists at Walgreens at Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals in Valrico. My family has been going there for years, and there have been many times the pharmacy has gone above and beyond to help us - I should have done this review a long time ago. On the latest occasion, my wife, who is unable to walk, was overdue for her vaccines, and the pharmacist on duty, Ifeoma,  came out to our car to administer the shots despite being very busy.
Since the pharmacy is the actual point of attainment  where a patient receives their medicine, the patient will sometimes fault the pharmacist if there are any glitches that prevent the patient  from receiving their medicine within the expected time; when in fact, the doctor's office, insurance company, and other factors can delay prescriptions. Some drugs even have registries with requirements that must be fulfilled before a prescription can be dispensed. So, if your prescription is delayed please don't automatically assume your pharmacist is at fault and react to increase the pressure in their already stressful work environment. They are working very hard and doing their best to make sure your prescriptions get filled.

They really need to work on the staffing, you should NOT have to watch drive through and walk in. I was first in line and waited over 25 minutes. Unreal. I will be switching pharmacy's as this is ALWAYS an issue here

Pharmacy is garbage!! left me without heart medication for 4 days because I had a refill for 30 days left and they were trying to get approval from doctor for 90 day supply. called them each of the 4 days and was told they would fill the 30 day. Ended up in hospital due to chest pain!! Will be changing where I go for meds!

I truly would give zero stars if I could. I take one prescription and it's always an issue getting it picked up. The staff is not friendly or helpful. I tried calling at 9 for one simple question and have been on hold and hung up on twice the last 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back to this horribly run pharmacy.

Thanks to Julissa and the unconcern of Joy working with her today, I would give 0 if possible. Julissa the tech at store 1011 did a horrible job of listening & entering information incorrectly today which caused us to have to make 4 wasted phones to this Walgreens on 9/15/24 @ 355p for needed medication. Then said it was our fault for giving incorrect information after the other Walgreens took the same exact info & actually listened to what was said in one phone call. Joy the pharmacist that is working this afternoon with Julissa repeated exactly what Julissa said without even inquiring. Only to confirm that on each call Julissa listening skills were far from poor & said we gave the other pharmacy different info which is why they magically were able to update our info. Who would waste their Sunday with 4 calls to one & mysteriously change the info after calling another Walgreens?! No concern in either Julissaâs tone or Joyâs when I also mentioned how Julissa threw me on hold while I was talking after she originally told me she was the manager in the beginning of the call then magically once again, she threw me on hold saying she wasnât the manager. This isnât the first time but just no regard for their clients. So my entire family will be changing from this store 1011.

Had an appointment for a rapid Covid test at 12:30. Walked up to pharmacy window and there is a sign saying to scan a QR code to check in for all appointments. I check in, and after 35 minutes I go up there to see how much longer. I was told that they donât get notified, so Iâm unsure why the sign is there. Then a few minutes later they come back with the pricing, however I donât have insurance and my appointment was supposed to be no cost. The lady apologized and said she didnât see it, and fixed it. Then about another 10 minutes later (now an hour past my appointment time), the pharmacy manager (Joe?) brought me back. I asked if it was the correct test, he said yes, and we finished. He said it would be a couple of hours for the results. Thought that was strange since the appointment was for a rapid test. I just received a call that they gave me the wrong test, and that he didnât notice because he just assumed it was the more common test. This place is not organized and clearly do not do their due diligence. This pharmacy is the worst one Iâve been to by far.

I called the pharmacy to let them know I would be coming by right before closing and made them aware I had an antibiotic I desperately needed for my son, and apologized for heading there so close to closing and was informed âWe close at 8â, which I was aware of.
I said ok thank you, I will be there before 8.
I get to the drive thru at 7:57 and itâs closed.
so I go inside at around 7:59-8:00 on the dot and everythingâs locked up and closed. I will be escalating this to corporate as this is bad business.

I visited here one time to add money to my cashapp card. The first time I visited, the boy working (he said he was manager), took my payment and added the funds to the cashapp debit card with no issues, quickly, with flying colors. I visited a second time and greeted the same boy again , to add funds to my cashapp card. Him, the female worker who was working with him that day, and a lady behind me who was running over my toes with her cart in line , were all being extremely rude and , bullying me for no reason. The boy working denied me, and said he wasn't going to put the money on my card. I was so frustrated. I left immediately, drove down the street to another Walgreens, and didn't have any issues with them. They processed the funds to my card. This location was so hostile , aggressive , and rude, i will never be returning and neither should you. That is all so disrespectful.

I received a text yesterday that my prescription was ready. I went to the drive through the next day, sat for 40 min waiting for the 4 cars in front of us to go through. Finally its my turn, I give my info and sit there watching two women searching for my prescription for another 15min. She came to the window and informed me they can't find my prescription and don't have anymore to fill it again and that they don't have time to search the whole area for my prescription they misplaced. So not only was that about an hour of my time wasted, but I was not given a day or time to come back and I do not have my prescription. This is the reason we stopped coming to this pharmacy but because of insurance we are forced to come back. Do better Walgreens Pharmacy! DO BETTER!!
