If I could give 6 stars I would. The lady who helped me there (sadly I didn't catch her name) was the best car rental agent I have ever dealt with. I arrived 2 minutes before advertised closing time, and even know she had already locked the door and was surely ready to go home, she opened the door a greeted me politely. I explained that I had a rental the was supposed to be dropped off at a different location but I wanted to drop off there. She told me no problem, I'll help you. She then asked me if I had filled the gas, which I didn't because I was running super late. It would be $9 a gallon if I just left it. She waited for me to go down the street to the closest gas station and fill the tank (saved me $60). When I got back she told me she will take care of all the paperwork for the rental change and even said there won't be any additional charge. Thank you again to who helped me. That was hands down the best rental experience I have ever had. Please support this business if possible

Extremely professional and helpful. I arrived late to pick up my vehicle. It was just after the computer was shut down for the day. She ( the Venice Fl agent ) found a way to get me into my vehicle. She was very kind and understanding. She depicts what customer service should be like.I’m sorry I didn't get the agents name to post.

I do not leave many reviews, but I thought I should pass along a brief post on a great experience I had at the Venice AVIS location. I needed a (new) large SUV for a long trip. This Avis location had the perfect SUV for us. The operators Jadey & Manny were very friendly and informative. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

The manager of this location is absolutely fantastic. Always incredibly helpful and friendly. Returned the car almost 20 hours late due to a mistake on my end and was only charged an extra day and small late fee. Will only rent from them in the future

I usually rent at the airport but decided to try something different this time. What a great experience! This rental location is a father and daughter small business and they went way above and beyond to help me get into a car that I desperately needed after I experienced car trouble. I will definitely be coming back for my future rental needs. Highly recommend.

They are A-1 in service, I had some issues with my bank account and debit card and needed to extend my rental, they were accommodating and very understanding under the circumstances. I greatly appreciate that.

Really helpful guy who exchanged the pretty awful car which I was given the day before at Tampa airport by a guy who seemed totally disinterested. Made me feel good about Avis again.

When returned the car at venice and Manny Vasquez was behind the counter. Totally unacceptable behavior, overcharged us 70$ more then needed without any explanation and when i pointed that all she could tell is I don't know why is that and i should call customer service to readjust it. Would never recommend that place. Beware

Not good service at all. Mrs. Manny Vasquez doesn't know her job except to overcharge the bill. Will never rent a car from Avis just because of Manny's attitude.
