Room was smelly, mold or mildew ( a dehumidifier was running when we entered room indicating a moisture problem). By next morning we had allergy symptoms. Couldn't wait to get some fresh air.

Surprised that for a $250/night hotel you receive absolutely no housekeeping services. Regardless of the length of your stay, trash isn't emptied, linens/towels aren't replaced, dehumidifiers aren't checked/emptied. When we complained to management, it was shrugged off. We also gave feedback after our stay about the breakfast, and the response was to basically tell us we didn't experience what we experienced. Wild response to receive from hotel management but alright. Just be forewarned that if you have issues, that is how they'll be addressed.***Update-- reply to the owner's response: Katia, you were contacted by the person who booked and you were the person who responded to them rudely. If you don't want negative reviews, please provide a more positive experience for your guests.Rooms: Absolutely zero housekeeping-- no trash emptied, no toilet paper replenishment, etcccc

My husband Corey & I have stayed at the BW in Venice Fl many times in the past three years. . We were there for two weeks last month. The staff is excellent, kind & professional. I want to give special recognition to Stephanie at the front desk & Terry the breakfast hostess. Terry is extremely good at her job. She’s goes beyond in her role and has become a friend. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. We look forward to returning.Rooms: The rooms are huge with a little kitchenette. Plus very clean.Nearby activities: The hotel has easy access to all the activities you may want to partake in , in Venice & other nearby townsSafety: The hotel is very safe. Safe area.

The manager is not a good manager. The whole crew was rude on how they spoke to my daughter, who they hired and who is homeless. So they had no compassion on her hygiene, I wish the manager would be put in her spot for being rude. yes, and I worked for the Hilton properties for over 20 years, and I won the pride award so if you tell me this manager is any good I can tell you different. Thanks for listening and I hope you get rid of the crew there. I know there's no management and I hope it gets it together. Get rid of all the other crew that's why you're not keeping anybody there because of the manager.

Not really happy with the hotel, The shower quit working and the night manager couldn't have cared less. Also there were stains on the pillow case. Just tried calling the hotel was put on hold then hung up on. O well live and learn.Food & drinks: Love Venice.

This hotel is beautiful, looks brand new, clean and well kept. The customer service was outstanding. The breakfast that was included had lots of choices, eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles, toast, juice, coffee, fruit. Our room was updated, spotless, the linens on the bed were clean, white, and crisp. I was very impressed. It is located right off the highway with easy access to downtown Venice, the local beaches and other tourist attractions. It is in a very safe, quiet, location. I'd prefer to stay in this area than in some of the other run-down hotel properties I saw located on the beach. It also had a very nice pool and the internet worked great. If we return to the area, we will stay here again.

Made reservations 3 1/2 weeks prior to our stay. Somehow someway our reservation was cancelled. This was several weeks after hurricane Ian, and no rooms were available anywhere. Anna the front desk clerk stepped in ,and went into action. With a few logistical challenges she turned a terrible situation into a great stay. Good customer service is so hard to find these days, she was a blessing to us.

I would definitely stay again. Next tine I'll tell them if the soap, shampoo, condition and/ir lotion dispensers are low or empty. I forgot to mention in 'their' survey how quiet and pleasant (classy) the hotel was. Everyone there treated it (conducted thenselves) with common courtesy / manners, as they should -something you miss and appreciate when you have to stay at other "not-so-quiet" places.

Best Western was are safe haven during hurricane Ian. We always felt staff, always had breakfast and the staff are absolutely the best. Even had a slice of Catia's birthday cake. We're still here and will always remember Best Western.

My family and I have stayed at this location on multiple trips to Venice- this has become our go-to place to stay. The rooms are modern, nicely furnished and always spotless. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool area is clean and seems nice, although we haven't used it. The breakfast is pretty good as well. It's conveniently located with lots of food- fast or sit-down- nearby. Some within walking distance. So far we've stayed here 4 times in under a year and there isn't really anything I can pick on to complain about. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
