No one ever answers the phone! You can't do everything on the app!! The worst managed CVS.

Tried calling the pharmacy with questions - then tried again and again . Nobody answered . Whoever is managing this place should probably be managing a bowling alley - but then again i'd feel sorry for the bowlers .

my travel companion tested positive for C on Friday I made an appointment for the drive thru. went and did the test. results in 24-48. I am immune challenged and quick treatment is a priorit. I did a home test it was positive. Monday 48 I call in they have my phone number wrong and the test was invalid. I make another drive thru appt 36 hours no results. my understanding is the quicker one gets anti viral meds the less severe the symptom. I took another home test and called my GP Monday who called in a anti viral but no prescription by 5pm so I call in again to GP and get a call back saying they will call it in. 5 pm and still nothing. I'm not surprised how many people died because of poor follow thru from our medical community.

This is by far one of the worst run pharmacies No one answers the phone. On hold for 90 minutes They keep losing faxes and prescriptions Rude, and it's obvious they hate working there

I'd rather put a campfire out with my face than ever deal with those pharmacy employees ever again.

Act; I This is THE worst CVS pharmacy I've ever used. Being a diabetic, I've used this location before and have had issues in the past that needn't warrant a review. But after my girlfriend became ill and in desperate need of prescriptions filled we decided to use this location due to convenience. Our doctor had the prescription sent early morning and we received a text around 1 that it was filled and ready for pick up. I arrived at this locations pharmacy and after speaking to the first employee (who was nice), was told to come back in 1 hour because it hadn't been filled. Ok, understandable. That's fine, and no problem. I came back around 2:30, this time using the drive-thru, to be greeted by a woman who seemed annoyed that I was even born and within her presence. After asking for the prescription and some tedious explanation of trying to spell my girlfriends name ( it's ok, she demanded for the license so she can read it ) we then hit with the price. After explaining to her that the price was not what reflected the discounts deducted from having insurance, she explained that she already applied the said discounts. The total price was double what the insurance documents had shown ( which was presented ). After some banter about the clear problem the "pharmacist" replied, "Something came up, your prescription will be another hour. You can drive around a bit." as she walked away.... Ok. Fast forward about 15 minutes. I know. A "LONG" time. My girlfriend decides to go in and figure out the problem more. Act; II She proceeds inside where she meets another "pharmacist" , she explains the issue again where she requests an in depth, summarized invoice of how the discounts have been applied. In brief, they refused to understand the issue and help. We paid the full price and decided to call the insurance to have it reimbursed, which they did no problem. Due to them having reliable employees and a reputable location. Said insurance company has now been trying to call this CVS pharmacy for answers why this incident happened. Which none of said calls have been answered...

If you want the worst service possible from a pharmacy in Venice, Fl the pharmacy at 100 bypass south would win, hands down! Dealt with this inept pharmacy twice today. Was given no instruction on a tapering prednisone drug that was filled incorrectly instead of packets, of 6,5,4,3,2 and my husband was given 21 pills in a bottle with directions to take 1 packet daily. Then later in the day I asked his MD to order a refill of a back spasm medication. CVS said prior authorization was needed by the Aetna Medicare ins co and then left a message saying the medication was available for pickup after 7:15. I went to get it and was told they were still waiting for prior authorization. I returned home called Aetna Medicare who said the MD needed to call in a prior authorization. Like that would happen on a Friday night! Aetna denied the same medication back in January for unknown reasons. CVS back in January allowed us to pay $42.50 out of pocket using a prescription drug card. I called CVS again and said I have the bottle that they filled right before me I gave them the prescription number and all of a sudden I could pay this out-of-pocket amount and come and get the drug so two trips and $42.50 later I got the drug for my husband after dealing with this inept pharmacy we are changing CVS pharmacies and next year we are changing from Aetna Medicare! There's no way in hell I would ever recommend either company to any friend of mine or for that matter, any enemy of mine! They are all in it for money only. No compassion for a patience agony what so ever!

This is the most ridiculous place I've ever tried to shop at. No one working a register, self serve check only, wouldn't work, no employees to help. Waited 20 minutes ended up leaving and still no one came to help. This place will be out of business due to poor customer service.

Went there for the first time in years. Everything went great. No line at the pharmacy. The assistant was very friendly and helpful. Store was clean and well organized. They filled my prescription in just a couple hours .

This is the worse Pharmacy ever!! I will never step foot in this store again. The pharmacist is so rude. I don’t know how he got his license ! He has no people skills at all. When people are in pain you try to help them not just tell them what you can’t do for them! Please people if you want good service don’t go to this CVS. ??

Having surgery next week....I went through the drive through to try and drop off my prescription for an antibiotic and a pain killer....I understand the pain pill epidemic in this country but the lady working the pharmacy drive through was extremely rude and treated me like a criminal.....told me "they didn't have it" would not answer any questions about when I could possibly return to try and pick it up nor did she offer to fill my antibiotic prescription. Went to WALGREENS up the road very polite and complete opposite of service I received at 2 CVS locations! Loyal Walgreens customer from now on. The lady at cvs did tell me "their shipment of natcotics did not come and she can't tell me when it will" I said ok if I come tomorrow do you think there is a chance you will have it?? She said I can't say I also tried calling before to save myself some time DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST GO TO WALGREENS!!!!!!!!

My experience was with a cashier who was rude. She made no eye contact and didn't bother to say please or thank you. I suggested you try another CVS, except the one at Laurel and U.S. 41, their staff is not, apparently, fully trained, as "I don't know" was the typical answer I got when I use to go there, no longer do.

I have gone here frequently because it's close to my work. Every time I am disappointed. The cashiers and workers move at such a sloth like pace, they make the DMV seem efficient. The shelves are bare, stock low or out of items I buy weekly. The workers do not care if there are 20 people in line, they won't call someone else to assist. I loathe this store. When I rarely do find an item I need, and it's buy one get one free, there is ALWAYS only 1 left. I asked the store to order more of one item SEVERAL times because of how often I would buy it. Finally I just gave up. Avoid this location if you want to keep your sanity.
