My old Interstate battery needed replacement after nearly 7 years of service. I pulled into the shop and 45 minutes later I had a new battery. Charles took the extra time and effort to clean up my cables and hold-down clamp. Now everything is as good as new. Very happy.

I had 2 batteries installed on my RV. The chassis (starter) battery died 2 times. Both times I tried to charge it with my charger. Then I tried my neighbors (much larger) charger. Nothing worked. Both times I returned it. Venice Starter (Charles) could not recharge it. The battery was under warranty and was less than a year old the first time is died. Venice Starter returned the battery to Interstate both times. For some reason never explained to me Interstate was able to recharge it and the battery was returned to me both times. My questions are how did Interstate charge it but no one else could? How will this help me if it loses its charge while I am on the road? Neither were answered. I don't want to get into the phone calls involved, I am putting the miserable experience in the rear view window. I have lived in Venice over 25 years and always prefer dealing with local small businesses. I have crossed Venice Starter & Battery Outlet off my list. There are plenty of other retailers in the area I can do business with.Service: Battery

Had the pleasure of meeting Charles the owner. Brought in a 2002 Porsche Boxster S with a bad battery. He changed it himself and gave me great advice on the proper use of my trickle charger and when not to use it – I now have a trusted battery / starter source near the island – can’t recommend him and the business enoughServices: Battery
