Encore Ramblers Rest

Hours: Encore Ramblers Rest is an all-age RV park in Florida located along the Myakka River in Venice. The RV resort offers a tranquil, wooded setting while still being minutes away from Sarasota and the Gulf of Mexico. Guests can enjoy fine dining, shopping, golfing, boating, and live entertainment nearby. The RV park offers a full calendar of activities. One camper stayed with a husband and a 24 year old son and enjoyed the experience, including a one man band by the pool that gave it more of a resort experience. Others loved it so much they bought a park model after bringing a 5th wheel. They made wonderful friends and found so many things to do, including a beautiful pool, new bocche ball courts, pickelball, shuffleboard, and shows. A family rented an Airbnb and was very happy with the choice, finding friendly people and clean grounds, with an active little community and an alligator that travels from pond to pond. One guest stayed last minute in a very quiet area but had no electric. A park ranger visited after multiple attempts at reaching after hours, and the box was fixed first thing in the morning. The guest was told no credit toward another night. Amenities were subpar, children were loud, and there was dog barking. The best part was supportive neighbors, the gentleman who fixed the electric, and waking up to nature singing in a safe outdoor environment. Another guest described a nice woodsy camping area for RVs, a large facility with all the amenities, and a very active group of seasonal people with lots of activities like meals, farmers market, and games.
