About Goodwill Retail Store & Donation Center - Rialto
Goodwill Manasota is a large, clean, and generally well-organized retail store and donation center. It is a recommended first choice for thrifting, with a huge selection of mostly clothes, plus decor, furniture, and jewelry in a 'Treasures' area. Shoppers need lots of time to look through all the goods and can often find very good stuff. The store has a boutique section at the front for higher-end clothing labels, where better quality items are marked up. Prices are competitive, though some small items and clothing can be on the higher end. Shopping the daily 50% off color tag or using the newsletter 10% discount provides good value. The staff is friendly and kind, always greeting customers and quickly accepting donations. The store is not usually understaffed, though the jewelry area may require asking the cashier for help. A noted downside is that the restroom facilities are limited.
Line is always way too long, cashiers spend more time talking to each other and customers than being efficient. They’re stingy with shopping bags, won’t give you one unless you have many items. It’s unfortunate because this store has good stuff.

Goodwill prices are at or above retail and it's ridiculous for used items.

I was very unhappy with the merchandise at this goodwill. It was very cheap and cheesy the clothes anyway. I did not find anything I even wanted to try on I've been to most of the Goodwills in Bradenton and Venice and Nokomis and Sarasota and this was the worst one I've been to hate it
