“When I first walked into the Rustic Rooster I was greeted with a warm welcome. ALWAYS a good start for me since I have been in customer service for over 35 years and feel like it is no longer the most important piece for most businesses anymore. I am someone who is going to get into restoring and painting old furniture and had questions regarding paints, techniques, and general questions after watching hours and hours of Youtube. Rose was so kind in answering all of my questions and suggested a paint class she was putting on that weekend so I could learn even more about why she uses Annie Sloan paint and how it can be used with the right techniques. Annie Sloan paint was the one I was leaning toward after my own research so I signed my husband and I up for the class. If you are looking for a fun, interactive, learning experience with your partner this is a great class to take. Rose is very knowledgeable and most of all, she is KIND. She has been in the business for many years and she wants all of the artists that walk through her door (and more) to succeed in whatever project they are working on. “This is one of my favorite shops in Venice. So many beautiful things packed into a small space! I’m a big fan of large fish floats for my tiki room, and they have a great selection for very reasonable prices. The customer service is excellent too. The owner actually called me when they got more blue floats in, because I have to drive a couple hours to get there. I really appreciated that!”

“I called the store this morning to see if I could find my daughter a similar grass small pot which I bought when she was visiting us in Florida. The manager went out of his way to try to find another.
He found the faux plant and when I asked if he could ship it to me in Michigan, he said while they normally do not do that, he would do me the favor of shipping it to me.
