Had head gasket replaced last year and it took weeks longer than what I was told. A few months later, I got a timing code and started investigating. Took off the VVT solenoid and found a glob of RTV in one of the oil passages (assuming it made its way from the timing cover.) Needing work done on another vehicle and it certainly won’t be from here.

Good communication, friendly staff, followed my request for a special oil change for my old Toyota van, and looked at my AC at no charge. An old school, reasonably priced repair shop, which is becoming rare in Venice and even in Englewood. Highly recommended.
