Real Bikes in Venice is a great bike shop. We have rented bikes there a number of times because they are conveniently located right on the Legacy Bike Trail. Their bikes are comfortable and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and friendly.

My friend and I rented bikes here and the service was great and so friendly. The bikes were very sturdy, modern, and dependable. I'm actually in the market to purchase a bike and will certainly be looking to purchase at Real Bikes.

Great shop for renting a bike! Easy parking at store. Easy access to Legacy Trail and Venice Beach right from store. Very convenient! Great service!

I make it a habit to find a "home" bike store where ever I move to and I am glad to have found Real Bikes. There are many options in Sarasota County, and the staff here solidify why I will keep coming back. Thank you guys for the bike build and see you on the next ride.

Excellent friendly service! We rented ebikes for the day and rode them up to Sarasota. The bike shop is located next to the Legacy Trail. The helmets, water bottle holder and small bag (With air pump and lock) were included in the rental. Might want to ask for a gel seat for a more comfortable ride.

I rented a carbon road bike and it was a Giant TCR with Shimano 105 components. Service was excellent. I brought SPD pedals and they put them on and adjusted the seat. Super convenient right on the Legacy Trail. I did 70 miles over the 2 days and no problems.

Rented two e-bikes for Legacy Trail. Bare bones; No mirrors or bike racks one seat was not adjustable without tools
Susan was very helpful and informative. 'Big Bamm Bikes' had better bikes and safer entrance to Legacy Trail.

We rented bikes here because it was so near the Legacy Trail which we wanted to ride. The bikes were in good shape and ready for us when we arrived. The online reservation made it very easy. The folk there were very nice and helpful with info about the trail.

Very helpful on setting up our rentals and how to use them. Gave us directions on the Legacy trail. Bikes were very comfortable and staff very friendly

My wife's seat broke on Sarasota end of trail, limped back to Real Bikes a very nice and knowledgeable lady fixed us up. Not our first experience, all good.

I was vacationing, from PA, with some friends in the Venice area and since they had bikes, I needed to rent one. They suggested I contact Real Bikes since it’s right next to the trail we planned to bike. I called, first, to ask some questions, before making my reservations on line. Darn, the guys name is either Bill or Mark but anyway he was super nice, helpful, suggestive and pleasant. Gave great advice. So I booked online, which was very easy and I like that I got to use Apple Pay. The waiver was emailed and texted to me. Again…easy peasy to do electronically. I got there early and my bike and helmet were ready. Super ‘comfort’ bike, great seat, easy shift and such a smooth ride. I will definitely reserve through them again.

I came in with a simple popped tire, after trying to tell me that it would take a week to fix i complained saying I would do it my self, they said "oh well why don't I do it right now". Why did I have to complain for that to be on the table. They also failed to tell me that there would be a service charge to put the tires on the bike. Now I was okay with this when I first left the shop but not long after I realized that they put the bike's tires on incorrectly and I had to fix it myself. I felt like the entire interaction was them doing as little as possible but charging me as much as they could. Sorry but I won't be trusting you guys anymore.
