July 8th. Come on Salvation Army. Two weeks ago I donated over 25 large bags of almost brand new women’s clothing and shoes, etc. I visit the store today and your pricing is getting worse than Goodwill. At least Goodwill now has dollar days where I’ve gotten some excellent deals all on donated items.
Remember Salvation Army, you’re a Christian based store and you play Christian music over the radio, but your pricing on donated items that are given to you are not so Christian like. It’s all about greed, greed, and money and that’s disgusting.
Shame on you for some of the prices I see in your store today in Venice, Florida. It’s absolutely despicable and pathetic. That donated items that you get free, absolutely free, and you price it the way you have been pricing them. All for the love of money, which Christians know the love of money is the root of all evil. Shame on you.

New location in Venice is very nice. Only complaint is some prices for these used donated items is priced too high. Used, in somewhat rough condition Clark shoes for $15.00!! That sounds like Goodwill prices.
Good to hear children’s clothing section is coming. Hopefully some children’s toys as well.
Too many Thrift stores are asking way way too much money for these donated items.
Please, keep the prices down. These are USED and DONATED items. Have dollar days as well like your competitor.

I loved going to the Salvation Army when it was by Detwiler’s. The prices were reasonable. They had a nice area of kids toys. It seems like it’s trying to be an overpriced Goodwill. I have found some things I would’ve liked but way too expensive.
