Terrible.. If I could give 0 stars I would. We brought our bike into the shop and asked them to thoroughly look it over and service it. In addition to the service check we brought it in for, they ecommended new tires, new drive belt and air filter which we agreed to.The first ride after getting the bike back from the shop the engine went due to not having any oil in it whatsoever. How do you take a bike to a shop to be serviced and looked over and they don't even think to check the fluids? They're trying to blame it on us for not getting the oil changed regularly, however they didn't even check the oil when it was in their care and sent it out the door bone dry. We asked for them to look everything over and checking the fluids should have been the first thing done. Even Tire Kingdom checks fluids before sending vehicles out the door.Total avoidance when it came to acknowledging the mistake and making it right. They tried to say "you didnt ask us to check the fluids." Yes we did, we asked for a thorough service check and were willing to do whatever was recommended. We didn't know we had to hold the hand of the professional to get basic service that could have prevented this whole situation. They offered us a $200 credit towards labor on a $1,500 job to repair what their negligence caused after I already spent almost 500 bucks there 2 days prior. Worst thing about it is the cost of the parts to repair the damage are minimal, it's the labor that's expensive.. Looks like we will be speaking to our lawyer. Unreal.

So my wife, Donna Whitman, wrote the other one star review a few days ago. She was frustrated - although everything she said is true, but I want to try to be fair...I had the scooter for about a year and had checked the oil a few times including a few months ago where the levels showed fine. I've been doing a little bit of research and of course there's people recommending you check your oil every week and thats fine and im sure good.... but exactly what I told the mechanic when I brought this thing in was that I had it for about a year and it has been perfect the whole time and I am by no means mechanically inclined and hadn't really done anything and figured it needed a look over and that in the past couple days I heard a ticking noise but there was no effect on performance at all. I told him I was game for whatever else it needed but that was my main concern - an engine noise that had just started. The mechanic took it for a ride and said he heard nothing. I found that odd and especially more so afterwards since when I rode it home after he recommended and ordered the parts for a new drive belt, new tires and an air filter it was still making the noise. I agreed to these $500 in repairs that had nothing to do really with the reason i brought it in, because I stress that was my main concern and of course I logically assumed that there would be further investigation besides just telling me he didn't hear anything after an initial 2 minute ride.So I got a call at the parts came in when they did and brought scooter into drop it off at which point I had to remind the mechanic about my concern over the ticking noise being my #1 concern. When I pick up the bike a couple days later they had installed all of the parts they recommended and I actually didn't hear the ticking noise for the ride home, so I figured that must have been addressed as well and was something simple. Then on my very first real ride up to work after getting it back the engine made a terrible crunching and banging noise and failed. I had it towed to their shop and phone them to let them know what happened and was very cordial. I stopped in about an hour after it was dropped off cuz I figured they might have some questions for me and I was greeted by the mechanic holding a jar of dirty oil in my face. He told me there was no oil in the crank and it was bone dry. That it was destroyed and would cause 1500 bucks or something to repair. I was basically just reeling and in the state of such despair just trying to process everything and wasn't really engaging in conversation let alone getting angry at that point. After talking to everyone I know about this abysmal situation.. this is my only transportation and not a toy - I have it because I can't afford a car right now... everyone encouraged me to go back and that it was in no way right that that thing should have ever left the shop bone dry regardless of whose fault it was or how it got that way. I thought about it and they were definitely right.I think the chances are pretty high and that that thing did go into their shop really dry and maybe that's where the ticking noise was coming from and that's why I came to them as professionals with that being my main concern. And they're investigation into that didn't go any further than a 2-minute ride? Nothing after i dropped it off and then paid 400 something for all the other stuff you recommended? Not even checking fluid levels. How could you send that thing out bone dry? Its sorry and inexcusable. Not right and everybody knows it.I think this is probably overall a decent business and serves a lot of people in a really good way. But they were dead wrong and refused to acknowledge it and make it right. They offered me $200 off of the $1,500 or whatever the cost was of the repair after I just spent 500 bucks almost on my only transportation that they sent out of their shop without even checking fluids when I complained of an engine ticking noise. A very pathetic moment

Hands down the best place to shop for motorcycles, scooters, atv, etc. Shawn Poneleit the owner is so straight forward, honest, and sincere in helping you. He provided me a quote on my new 2024 Honda ADV 160 and it was $1,000-$1,500 less than Sun Sports Cycle & Watercraft, Inc. in FT. Myers, RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, and Rick Case in Davie, FL.There were no games when I came into the shop, Ryan helped me with the Honda financing and everything went smoothly. They helped me place my bike on the hitch carrier and made sure I was good to go...After taking my motorcycle class and riding a few hundred miles I came back to purchase extended warranty and some accessories and again, nothing but 5 star service! I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I brought my son on there to fit him for his first dirtbike! Sean and the finance lady were amazing! When I told my son the dirt bike was going home with him he started to cry which touched the staff very much and they were just as excited as we were. They were amazing and treated us as if we were part of their family! Highly recommended!

I had the smoothest purchase for my new 2023 Honda Rebel 500 with Ryan from South County. He was very responsive to my emails and I was able to go into the dealership and walk out with a brand new bike all in 30 minutes. Ryan was able to make the process extremely smooth and was very professional throughout our interactions. I would recommend South County Honda to any and everybody looking for a bike.

Unfortunately I will not be returning to this dealership or service center as they are quite disrespectful, unprofessional and lack the knowledge to properly diagnose. I brought my 2017 hand grom in after I had gone through and done a full frame swap, installed new plastics and was setting the bike up to race but I couldnt quite figure out why my front wheel was not lining up correctly. Well I thought it was time to bring it to a dealer and made an appointment for opening at 8am, I brought the bike in and advised of my issue, I told him I thought maybe the forks may be bent when I dropped it off. I hadnt heard anything until I called in at 2pm to see if they knew anything and the person answering sounded shocked asking if I was expecting it looked at today. Regardless thats fine, they called me back about 30 mins later saying they cant figure it out and to check if the forks are bent when i get home and to come pick the bike up. When I got there to pick up the bike the gentleman was criticizing the bike and being very disrespectful, I also noticed he had scratched the brand new fairing by throwing the bars as hard as you could over into the fairing. When I brought it up to him he said basically oh well and then proceeded to charge me a full hour when they only looked at it for 30 mins and told me exactly what I said when I left it. So basically they had my bike all day and just damaged my brand new fairing and charged me $105. As I was loading the bike into the back of my truck another gentleman offered to help, I showed him the scratch and he said he would order me touch up paint instead of replacing it and would call me when it came in. Well I never heard anything back from them for a few weeks and ended up ordering a new plastic as well as finding my line up issue being a bent triple tree, so they were even incorrect in telling me what I thought when I dropped it off. The bike is now repaired and going in to this shop was just a mistake and an extra unneeded expense and stress in my life. Im typically not a person to bad mouth anything but the situation just doesnt sit right with me.

It's the ONLY motorcycle shop in Venice to go to. Nice family owed business, and now 2nd Gen family owned. They understand long term customers, as many of their customers have been sence the 80 's. And value their business everyday. And J.R. in the service dept, that man has forgot more about motorcycles them most service mangers know. If he can't fix it, nobody can (I hear on occasion he can even fix "stupid".....lol). Anyway it's a great shop, no need to drive to Port Charlotte, or Sarasota, home town business will take care if all your motorcycle needs.

Very happy with my experience here. I thought I had damaged electrical stuff on my 2018 CBR300R when I accidently tried to jump-start it but had reversed the polarity on the cables...but fortunately I just needed a new battery. I feel a bit silly not having figured this out myself. Nonetheless South County Honda figured out issue and had me back on the road quickly. No gimmicks, just a nice friendly staff and fair price.
