Three phone calls and no call backs

You don’t judge a business when things go right. It’s important to see how they handle things when there are problems. I am insured by State Farm. I brought my car to a local body shop with front end damage when someone hit me in a parking lot. When I got the car back I found that the convertible roof, the four window switch, and the electronic trunk release were inoperable. I went back and the body shop called a computer specialist who ran diagnostics on the car and found part of the computer in the back of the car had been knocked loose and shorted out from the accident. State Farm would not pay the claim because they said the accident was in the front and the computer is in the back so it “was my problem”. They wanted me to prove the accident caused the computer to fall off the bracket and short out. I asked him how I could do that. He said again, that was my problem. He said they don’t like when people try to get unrelated problems fixed as part of the accident and that’s why it’s my problem. The body shop told me that over the last two years that State Farm is commonly known amongst all the body shops as one of the worst companies to deal with. I don’t even know you but If you are thinking of using State Farm I IMPLORE you to go anywhere else. If you decide to use them I pray you don’t have an accident. Please, please, please don’t get any type of insurance from State Farm!

Always ready to help and actually a live person answered immediately. Unlike the new office in Nokomis, took 5 min. to get through the push here, push there buttons. Wish we had the service you offered.

Placing this review cause my file has been neglected. I was provided with someone (possibly inexperienced) at the office back in early December who accidentally messed up my policies and gave me wrong information before proceeding. Once I reached out to the head of the office on the situation of being wrongly informed and over paying. I got a call from Stanley himself saying she was let go and he was putting me in touch with someone that would give me an adjustment and a policy review to resolve the mistakes. I haven’t heard anything from anyone at the office or another that can help me, all while my payments continue to almost double. When I called Stanley today he said he retired and said he would get me the information of the new owners. We will see.

I've had State Farm Ins all my life. Originally from OH but a resident here for over 10 years. Their office is close by, easily accessible and the staff are amazing. I highly recommend that any driver stop in. Like I said, they go all out for the client and the rates areunbeatable.

After several attempts to get an aging mobile home covered by several members of my family, with no success, I found myself talking to Megan Madus from Stanley Dean. She was understanding of our needs, knowledgeable as to the insurance products available, and determined to get us covered with a minimum of effort on our part and at a reasonable rate. Each interaction with her was completely satisfactory. Through each phone call or email, she never left a question unanswered or detail unattended to. Her professionalism shined through each of our conversations as she guided us through every step of the process from initial contact to policy in place. Should I need any other insurance, Megan at Stanley Dean will be the first call I make.

I was extremely happy in how Stanley Dean State Farm Insurance took care of my claim. Specifically, Sam(I think is short for Samantha) walked me through the process and made the call to State Farm directly time help me with my claim. She is terrific!!! Go on Friday and you may get some warm cookies!
